This time I wanted to take advantage of cashing in some change I saved up. Btw, this branch has a change machine...and I don't know all the specifics, but I am sure as long as you have an account there is no charge. I made it in about 30 minutes before closing time on a Saturday. There were two tellers working and a full drive-thru line and a couple customers ahead of me in the lobby. I had two separate transactions besides the change, and even with a little patience by me on waiting they were happy to help me. I haven't ever rated a bank experience, but the employees working today were both friendly and efficient.

I'm doing research now to find a different financial institution. The downtick in my satisfaction…read morestarted a couple of years ago, about the time a service fee was initiated. A little later the easily-accessible branch was closed. We're eagerly awaiting the flashy space age improvements... My current issue is that in January, online vendors stopped accepting my debit card that expires in April. Truity suggested I give them my account and routing numbers but that is not easily done online, i.e., order forms want a credit or debit card number. When I pressed Truity, they agreed to send me a new card via 2-day mail. Three days later, the card still isn't here and, since Truity cancelled the old card number, I have no access to my funds. I am 70 years old, don't own a car, and have fallen ill in the meantime. I can't pay for prescriptions my doctor called in. Luckily, a friend was willing to give the pharmacy her credit card info but, still, I'm disappointed with Truity. They assure me the card will be here by the day after tomorrow, a Saturday. Until then, still no access to my money and if the card doesn't arrive on Saturday, I'm screwed until Monday.

After being a customer for 15 years Security Bank aided Straight Talk wireless in ripping me off of…read more$250. Before Xmas 2025 I ordered a locked Iphone and 1 month service. Did not arrive. Call center for Straight Talk in a foreign country. No help, no order number, no invoice, nothing. Went to Security Bank and was told no problem but I needed to wait 30 days to report. I purchased same thing at Walmart since it was Xmas gift. After 30 days I went in to bank and filled out affidavit. A week later Security Bank sent letter saying I was denied and was just out the money. What about the month of service for the phone that was never received nor activated ? Sorry, you are just out. What kind of bank does that to a 70 year old long time customer? You have zero protection if you use Security Bank debit card. My new bank said that should never have happened.
