He's proactively creating outlines while reading to set himself up for success when trying to remember details later for questions or discussions. Before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars, read the refund policy very carefully. If the course isn't the right fit for you, don't expect much flexibility. I found the policy to be rigid and completely one-sided, with little regard for customer satisfaction. What frustrated me even more was the inability to speak with a manager. When I requested one, I was told that wasn't possible. Instead, the customer service representative documented my questions, submitted them to management, and informed me that someone would call me back within two business days. If you have a time-sensitive issue, this process is incredibly frustrating. There is no opportunity to have a real conversation with someone who has the authority to resolve your concerns. As a Texas customer, I also found this process concerning. Texas is a one-party consent state for recording conversations, meaning I can legally record my own calls. Yet instead of allowing customers to speak directly with a decision-maker, communication is filtered through an agent's written summary of the conversation. That means management is relying on someone else's interpretation of what you said rather than hearing your concerns firsthand. This creates unnecessary room for misunderstandings and leaves customers feeling unheard. For a company that prepares future lawyers--people who are taught to value fairness, transparency, and due process--I expected a much more customer-focused approach. Instead, I experienced inflexible policies, poor escalation procedures, and a customer service model that felt designed to delay rather than resolve concerns. There are many LSAT preparation companies competing for students today. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective students to carefully compare refund policies and customer service before choosing The Princeton Review. I cannot recommend this program.

Several centers seemed chaotic and disorganized, had staff that weren't trained and didn't promote developmental activities, or had poor communication. Maybe we have high expectations, but we wanted competent staff that were involved with our son beyond his basic needs, and a center that provided a nurturing environment for growth. Especially since the cost of daycare is so high in this area, we expected to have better quality childcare. The staff at Goddard is very caring, engaging, helpful, professional, and competent. The owner, Tracy, is great to work with and truly cares about making the center a great place for the children. The director, Mary Sue, is very caring and involved with the teachers and children in all of the classrooms. It was evident that our son's teachers, Erin, Vera, Tara, and Farrukh, were competent and caring staff who focus on the children's well being. Our son was far from being a model citizen - he had bad separation anxiety, cried a lot, and refused his bottles and naps at daycare. All of the staff, not just the immediate teachers, assisted with transitioning our son to the new environment, and they were open to trying anything and everything to make him comfortable and happy. The communication we received from them was thorough and frequent and we felt well informed of any issues on a daily basis. In addition to the staff being great, the learning program is designed with daily curriculums and our son is engaged in fun activities throughout the day. As an added bonus, the center uses the Tadpoles program technology to electronically send daily reports and pictures to our email and phone app. Overall our son is happier and more engaged at Goddard, and as parents we feel more comfortable knowing that he is being cared for by caring and competent staff.

Our daughter had never been around other kids her own age before, so we were a little concerned about her making friends. However, the pre-primary team did a ton of fun ice-breaking exercises with the kids, including sending a book home with individual photos of each child. Our daughter was thrilled to 'read' the book to us and tell us the names of all of her new friends! We have also had some interactions with the other teachers through Norbeck's summer camp, and our experiences with them have been terrific as well.

We have had an incredible experience with tutors from Kaplan-Cohen tutoring! My daughter has worked with three tutors, in subjects ranging from Geometry to Verbal SAT prep and the results have been better than we could have hoped. Each tutor empowered our daughter to feel confident with the material, improve her organization, and even enjoy subjects she did not enjoy previously. Michelle does an amazing job matching tutors to students and is very collaborative with families. We provide information about our child (learning needs and preferences, personality, etc) and she provides detailed information on possible tutors to provide an optimal experience. We expected quality tutors but have been blown away by their expertise and experience and how positive our daughter has felt been about each and every session. The teachers are young college students and they even discourage students on many levels. They will just give students a few questions as home work and that was it. Towards the end of your sessions, they start pressurizing you to buy more sessions and spend several thousands more! My son was extremely heartbroken! I watched the live stream in his classroom (toddler) ~2hrs a day and had seen 2 times a teacher caught my son's arms and forced him to sit still no matter how hard he was fighting. After got home on these 2 days, the scratches on his arms were obvious... He was only 1.5 years old and not able to tell us what's happened. We had reported to school the next day and the teacher didn't tell the truth until we told we were watching. We had reported to their district manager and child service in government. But the teacher who hurt him was still working there before we changed school. Actually not only my son, his little friends had suffered similar experiences that I saw. That teacher disciplined kids almost everyday! I doubt her profession, because kids were reading books alone just before discipline. My son was very quite at this school and he became verbal 1 month after he got into a new place. We're so grateful to our decision!
