We chose Goddard after trying others and found that it, and owner Sheeba Mathew have no equal. Ms. Sheeba knows the name of every child, every parent, every sibling, and in some cases even the grandparents of every child who is currently or has ever been a member of the Goddard family. Beyond keeping our children safe and comfortable, Ms. Sheeba and her incredible staff of administrators and teachers provide a wonderful foundation for kids to learn and grow. There is very little teacher turnover, which is great because it gives stability at an age where kids tend to really need it. When you see your kids eyes light up as they run into the classroom and hug their teachers, you just know you've made the right call. The education provided at Goddard is also outstanding. My 5 year old son has learned not just reading and numbers but science and history. He's learned about the world that surrounds him goes well beyond his Maryland zip code. I've watched him thrive in this beautiful, amazing environment. It's been incredible. This week we say goodbye to the school we love. Next week he will start kindergarten. His years at Goddard have prepared him for this, and I am beyond grateful. He is ready to achieve great things. Though both his heart and mine break at the thought of leaving, we know that we will remain part of that special community Ms. Sheeba has created and we remain eternally thankful for it. They have learned so much and have nothing but happy memories. I would never consider another option. While it is pricey, it's comparable in price to other options in the area, but superior in the care they provide. The personal connections they make with each teacher and with each family that attends make it special and worth every penny.

Our son has special needs and the staff has been wonderful in making the environment inclusive while also accommodating his needs. He has absolutely thrived and loves school and the teachers. They are truly genuine and caring and are so easy to work with. The school has a lot of land and a huge outdoor space and playground for the kids, and they spend lots of time outdoors when the weather is nice. All the activities during summer camp are fabulous! We also love that the primary teachers are very consistent- the center does not have significant teacher turn-over like other centers often do. While the aides may change at times, the teachers are all familiar faces every year and that helps make classroom transitions so much easier because the kids know the teachers already. We can't say enough good things about PPLC!!

Alice's true authentic Montessori school was warm and inviting. Unfortunately due to distance from us we decided may not be the best fit, but assure any parent her attention to detail and sections for children to focus on math, cursive, and art was nothing less than a beautiful display. The children are able to water flowers and do arrangements, have access to beautiful grounds and nature. Highly recommend and if location / travel time from where we live in Columbia was more feasible would have enrolled our daughter. A must for any parent looking for AMI teaching!!!

Finding that all together is hard, but also so important. My toddler loves and is benefiting from practical life work, and so needs the grace and courtesy and independence that great Montessori primary programs can foster. I can go to work knowing he's safe, well cared for, and learning so much throughout the day. The building is secured, so each parent has a pass code to enter the building, which makes me feel a lot better that people can't make it past the front door unless they have a child attending. Each morning and evening we're greeted with a smile at the front office - Ms. Amanda even makes sure to make the parent's experience friendly and personable at pick-up and drop-off. Ms.Kim and Ms. Cassidy of the pre- k classes go above and beyond to teach the children and provide quality activities to enrich each day. Art work, science projects, show and tell, crazy hair day, pajama day and pizza Tuesdays make daycare a little more fun for us all. They even send photos of what our kids are doing throughout the day. The quality of Celebree is top notch, and the team at Waverly woods makes it that much better.

So, I got to check out the grounds around the main building before the bride and groom arrived for rehearsal. They have a wonderful wandering Garden with Fountains and water features. I could sit by a loud water feature for hours. The wedding was in the garden, but the facility had prepared the Veranda in case the rain didn't clear up. In addition to the new main structure, they have Historical buildings and Summer camps.

I am so appreciative we were able to get our twin wild children started here. The staff are so communicative and attentive with our toddlers - I always appreciate their insights. My kids love going here and don't seem to miss us at all when we drop off because they're having so much fun and are always expertly transitioned. We are getting much greater value out of enrolling I thought we would when we enrolled -- there is even thoughtful programming for the parents! Highly recommend.
