The room was ok and nothing special. Each room had a balcony and unfortunately the traffic noise was unavoidable. I did not sleep well as a result. I will probably end up here but not by choice :-) it's ok and for an overnight stay not a bad option if hotels in town are full.

Don't get me wrong, it's not dirty at all. Just old. The hotel is close to a busy highway/large road. I got a room to the street side and so having the window open wasn't possible. With closed windows however, the noise was almost not hearable and I could sleep fine. Breakfast is ok. Nothing special but full continental with enough choices. Dinner I personally found totally overpriced and not really good quality. I probably would rate it more like two stars but due to the really nice personell - especially the superb bartender - I give it a third star. So for a business trip in Utrecht it is ok but not for much more.

Really a great setting. They have any kind of drinks but go for the home brewed beer... light, fresh and very very yummy. The ambiance is quite homey and there is also a big fireplace. But here everyone is open to meet others for networking, so grab a cup of coffee or a tea (available for free) and head to the terrace chatting with others. Most attendants are young start-uppers. If you want to have lunch it's enough to add your name to the board and participate to the abundant buffet while keeping to network with others. There are also several rooms of different size that can be rented to hold a large meeting or a one-to-one conversation, or to interview applicants if you don't have an office to invite them at.
