This review is long overdue, but here it goes: Simon is the sh--. Hire him if you want a talented…read morephotographer who is also a homie that makes you feel at ease on your wedding day. When our original photographer fell through due to illness, Simon was able to fill in as our backup photographer, along with his second photographer Michael (also amazing). This ended being such a blessing in disguise. Simon has very soft, romantic style to his photography, and leverages mostly film to give photos that natural softness. He was able to capture the most beautiful shots on our wedding day, and despite a very packed wedding day schedule, was able to squeeze in most of the photos we wanted. Not only that, Simon was just a total buddy and was thoughtful, communicative, and sweet throughout the entire planning process. One vivid memory that captures the awesomeness of Simon: we had a Polaroid photo station at the wedding and as the night progressed, our guests forgot about the photo station (they were busy dancing!), but not Simon -- he picked up the Polaroid camera and ended up snapping photos for us while we danced the night away, and stayed way past his contracted time. We ended up getting Polaroids photos, on top of the regular photos that Simon took, that captured the ratchetness of the night which ended up being one of our most treasured memories... Today, we have a whole Polaroid album to be able to look back on and laugh at. Hire Simon! You won't regret it.
