I was curious to know what was going to open in this spot, as it had been empty for a while, so I was very intrigued when I discovered it was a Pakistani joint.
We decided to get the vegetarian platter, which came with a good amount of rice, two mains (one with lentils and one with spinach), a tiny, undressed salad, and a small gulab jamun.
It's very good food. The flavors in the two mains were quite layered and impressive, and both dishes packed a decent amount of spice. The rice was an excellent vehicle for both dishes, and while I don't understand the point of that salad, the gulab jamun was a perfect way to end the meal.
The service was helpful and friendly, and the price was very reasonable (about $15). I'm sure I'll be grabbing food from Karahi Point again soon. read more
