We procrastinated and took our time getting our various projects done (that's how we roll), but Karen didn't pressure us, just checked in every few months to see how we were doing, even offering to come back out for another look whenever we were ready. Karen made a huge impact on my family as our realtor. We started with someone else, who was not very proactive. Knowing that we were in a hot market based on our preferences and price range, we decided to find someone who was a full time realtor and knew our area/market well. I know it seems like all I do is scarf down bread pudding and run in races that I'll never win, but aside from all of that, I've actually been saving my pennies to buy a HOUSE! I guess underneath all of my crazy awkwardness lies a responsible young woman. Or something like that. Anyway, yesterday I closed on my very first home. Yep, I'm a homeowner!
