I have done the traditional treatments of meds meds and more meds, therapy, EMDR, Rolfing, rebirthing, acupuncture, pretty much any treatment to get my life back. From the beginning consultations at Klearmind I experienced nothing besides extreme professionalism, empathy and a good explanation of the IV service. It's almost hard to put into words my experience with the IV treatment. I laughed. Hard. For the first time in years. I didn't have any pain for the afternoon. I was able to find my spirit again and my spirit found joy. If you have been stuck in your head, stuck in depression, you should definitely consider ketamine therapy. I got to be pain free, full of joy and laughter, out of the cycle of misery in my head. The treatment is worth every penny.

I work in the Behavior Health Unit, on the 3rd floor, affectionately referred to as 3BN. Day after day I encounter people in need of some HUMANKINDESS. Most of these individuals are patients, however some of them are staff. I think that if each and everyone of my peers implemented our core values at least once a shift we could bring this rating up. I am surrounded by one of the most outstanding Care Teams I have ever met. Nursing Staff that goes above and beyond the call of duty, Devoted support staff made up of Respiratory Therapists, Lab Techs, Pharmacy Techs, Medical Doctors, Psychiatrist's and of course the front runners...The first line of care: Mental Health Techs and CNA's. Thank You for all that you do to care for those in need at their most vulnerable state

I cannot overstate how frustrating and dysfunctional my experience with Dignity Health,…read moreparticularly the Gastroenterology department, has been. When I moved to California, I immediately took steps to establish care with a primary care physician specifically because my previous out-of-state doctors had recommended that I undergo a colonoscopy within a particular timeframe. I communicated this clearly from the beginning and did everything I could as a patient to be proactive about my health. Despite that, it took nearly EIGHT MONTHS just to see a GI specialist. When the appointment finally arrived, the physician began the visit by telling me that she was retiring that month and was unsure why they had scheduled me with her because she would not be able to perform my procedure or provide any meaningful continuity of care. After waiting eight months, this was apparently the best Dignity Health could coordinate. She recommended that I establish care in Sacramento, where there are more specialists and I could hopefully have a physician who could actually follow me long term. Reasonable advice, except she could not simply refer me there. Instead, I had to go all the way back through my PCP for another referral and essentially start the process over again. What followed was months of additional calls, messages, referrals, follow-ups, and coordination, much of it handled during my lunch breaks at work because apparently the burden of making this healthcare system function falls on the patient. The lack of communication, follow-through, and basic coordination within Dignity Health is astounding. At seemingly every step, one department cannot communicate with another, no one appears to take ownership of the problem, and the patient is left repeatedly calling offices trying to move their own care forward. I work in veterinary medicine, and this experience has given me an entirely new appreciation for how broken the American human healthcare system can be. My sincere hope is that veterinary medicine never begins to resemble what I have experienced at Dignity Health. If I treated my patients and clients with this level of fragmented communication, delayed follow-up, and lack of continuity, I would consider it unacceptable. The one silver lining in this entire experience was the nursing staff who cared for me when I finally had my procedure. They were genuinely wonderful: kind, compassionate, professional, and attentive. They made an otherwise incredibly frustrating experience significantly better, and I want to make it clear that my criticism is not directed toward them. They deserve recognition for providing the level of care and humanity that was so noticeably absent from the administrative experience leading up to the procedure. Healthcare should not require a patient to spend months fighting through administrative barriers simply to receive a procedure that their doctors have already recommended. Dignity Health has been, without question, one of the most backwards, inefficient, and exhausting healthcare systems I have ever dealt with. An absolute nightmare, with an excellent nursing staff unfortunately trapped within it.
