I chose Dr. King after reading all the reviews. As an avid writer, I have learned how to sift through GOOD to BAD reviews and assess my own conclusion. Yesterday was my first visit to Dr. King's office. Every segment of my visit was positive, from check in to check out. After a thorough health profile buildup, I was diagnosed and treated by Nurse Practitioner, Patricia. The whole experience was professional, prompt and thorough. They all took very good care of me. Military looking for a new PCM stay far away from this Office!! I have had doctors in 6 different states and 3 different countries but have NEVER been treated with such DISRESPECT as I was by the office staff of Dr King. I have seen Dr King two times and really enjoyed her as a doctor, however when I complained about her office staff hanging up on me I received a termination letter in the mail. You deserve better healthcare than this!!! She might have terminated me but she lost 4 patients in the process. I do plan on reporting everything to TRICARE as well, in hopes they will reevaluate her being a preferred pcm. read more

Dr. King and her staff are all AMAZING. They are friendly, efficient, and know what they're doing. I had previously gone to another doctor in the same building and was less than satisfied with my visit, this year I changed and came here and I am thrilled that I did. I had previously gotten blood drawn via Quest and had a terrible experience. I know it is pretty difficult to draw my blood, but the lady at Dr. Kings office did it without any issue. Dr. King listened to my concerns and took them all into consideration. I would recommend her and her staff to any and everyone. Cannot belieeve how unattentive the staff is here. They do NOT answeerrr their phhhhonnes. Ever. .. I came to see the nurse practitioner here about 3 weeks ago. Didnt know what I had was staph. Yes. Staph. So n.p. puts me on an sntibiotic and tries to convince me these sores are chigger bites. Unconvinced I ask for the doctor. Dr. King comes in and puts me on an antibiotic...one that she says will treat sll, even if it IS staph. So I go about my business, but five to 7 days later it is wau eorse, do I go to snother doctor eho puts me on bactrim and says first antibiotic would not treat staph anyhow. Grrreattt. Dr karen king has been my doctor for over 10 years, and while I always had a pleasant experience with her, her nurse practicioner Patricia Hornsby has always been a problem. Recently, I had an appointment to get a referral at 3:15 pm, and she didn't see me until 5 minutes from closing. She was talking fast and over me and wasn't listening. I showed her some blood work I would like to have repeated and she agreed and left. I called a few days later to ask if i could have 2 more blood tests added that I forgot I needed and the lady on the phone told me she'd tell ms hornsby. I didn't go get bloodwork the next week because my fiancee and I got sick. She calls me the week after and tells me we never talked about bloodwork, and asks me if my endocrinologist can do it instead. She also one time misdiagnosed my mother with meningitis, which terrified her enough to go to the hospital where they confirmed she in fact did not have meningitis. An open letter to Dr. King due to inability to contact you any other way. I am upset that your front office staff is unwilling to take a message or apparently to assist your patients in any way. This morning I found myself in a quandry with multiple out of country and or out of town trips in rapid succession and that my prescriptions had expired. I had reached out to your office for an appointment as soon as possible and to see if we might extend my prescriptions temporarily. I was informed that this is not standard procedure and of course I understand that. However, is it better to have a patient without prescriptions; well I suppose it is. So I am left to work something out as my doctor cannot be reached and no alternative is offered. So in summation, I am frustrated and left to wonder why it should be acceptable to have a family doctor who is not available to assist with my medical needs. read more

After searching and searching for a new doctor, I ran across reviews for Dr Karen King DO. I visited Dr. King on 1/25/2016. According to the reviews, she was exactly what everyone is looking for: a genuinely interested and knowledge-sharing doctor who does not treat you like a number. Her staff is extremely friendly and inviting. The office is very clean throughout. I was there for a yearly physical after so many years of neglecting my health. She was so kind and did not reprimand me like other doctors have in the past. She was inviting and went over my concerns in a manner that made me feel very comfortable speaking with her. I felt like I was talking to a family member. I will definitely return and recommend Dr King to anyone who is looking for a good Doctor. read more

Can't say enough about Dr. King. Love that I found her as she has a very holistic approach to medicine. Dr. King has been my primary care physician for the past 7+ years and she still spends at least 20-30 minutes with me at every appointment. Easy to book appointments with her staff too. read more

The staff is very friendly and the nurse practitioner is very attentive. They take their time to learn your needs and medical history ensure they provide you the proper wellness plan. Do NOT recommend Dr. King's office. I needed a general doctor for referral for testing. I waited over 2 hours in the waiting room. I made my request clear because my insurance was changing in the next 30 days. I called 3 times over the next two weeks and messaged the office through their portal. NO response. Finally after relentless calling, someone spoke with me and said an order was placed a week past and that business should have called. I insisted that I needed the business info. I called and the business had NO order from Dr. King and had received orders from Dr. King office in the past. My issue was the lack of response directly to me as the customer of Dr. King. I will be changing. If you do NOT have time to persist in communication with this office, then this is not the doctor for you. Hopefully my issue is not critical but I don't know yet.
