We would recommend this Income Tax Preparation firm to anyone. Compared to most, Pronto Refund Tax Service charges for their work based on the forms that are necessary rather than by the hour. In comparison to the other three alternatives that we received a quote from, Pronto was nearly $80-$120 less that the next lowest price. We were recommended by 8 of our friends to visit Pronto Refund Tax Service since they referred to this firm as "the best of the best". What a ridiculous set up. I was trying to use the one in Florence, KY. I had an appointment. There…read morewas one person there working. We never even got past the initial entry information into the system because she kept getting up to answer the phone across the room and for any other people who came in needing documents. She told me that per regulations she had to. So basically if the phone kept ringing we would be there for hours. Then she asked me what the number for EIC or ENC was on the form. You know, the whole point of me bringing in the full and complete stock sheets from Vanguard and Scottrade was to let someone else figure out the aggravation. She told me I should call them and gather whatever number she was looking for. I left the office after she then went to answer the phone again. I drove a block down to H and R Block and they got me in and didn't ask me what numbers meant and wrapped it up with the refund in about a half hour. And no I'm not an H and R Block troll---they were a block away and fast and competent and had someone at the front desk to answer the phone. And sure maybe I paid an extra 60 dollars for the service and it was well worth it vs what was going to be a catastrophic mess of me doing their job at Liberty Tax while they ignored my time to take care of other customers after I went to the trouble of setting up an appointment in advance.

The people here have no clue wth they are doing. We usually do our own taxes but this year we need the $750 advanced. Upfront we told the guy "Jack" we need the $750 advance. He said " no problem well get it for ya" I made this clear several times throughout that I needed this advanced. He assured me that we would get it. Fast forward here three hours later. Taxes are done and he assures me the $750 would be on the serve card in an hour. These were his exact words. My husband and I leave there and about 30 min later my husband gets a text message saying we have to apply for the $750 loan! "Jack" said nothing about applying for any loan. "Jack" said we'd get the money in an hour. Anyhow. We did as the link said and were denied for student loans. We don't even have any student loans so how can they deny us for that. Lies upon lies. I call back to this office location and talk to "Allen" the guy that is supposed to be in charge. What a joke! He tells me we got denied for debt. Then i say what debt we have none. Then he said "hmm not sure why your denied" I told him about "jack" saying we got the $750 and he said is was a misunderstanding! There is no misunderstanding when you tell your clients upfront several times they got the $750!!!! Be advised people don't go to this place. They lie to their clients and charge out the ass in fees. $365 for them to do our taxes which should have taken 20 min and took 3 hours! This place is a complete waste. If your reading this and are trying to decide whether or not to go trust me and don't waste your damn time. I read plenty of reviews before I went there and I was very uneasy about going but like I said we needed the money. I should have listened to my gut and not went. Worst experience of my life. I called the call center and spoke with a supervisor to complain about this entire situation. The reps hung up on me several times not wanting to help me out. Finally after 45 min I get a supervisor. I'm sure nothing will be done about it. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB tomorrow. They tell people lies to get you in and screw you over here. Save your money people and file the taxes yourself or go elsewhere it's not worth it here!!!!!!! This is the location on connector drive on Florence Ky however these people go back and forth to several locations on ft Wright etc so don't go to any location! They are all the same. We all sat down, 20 more minutes goes by and another worker came up to check her persons out. She never greeted anyone and walked to the back. A couple came in and sat down. She came back up I told her the gentleman was before us then us then the other couple, she said we were probably with (co worker's name) and the couple who just walked in is with her. We waited yet another 30 minutes with no one even letting us no what's going on.
