I found Karen right after my neck injury. I was in constant pain every day. I googled a physical therapist and pilates instructor within my zip code and she popped up. Our family has been seeing Karen over the course of 6 months for different physical therapy needs. First of all, she is very kind and professional. I had been doing pilates for years, with various teachers in various states. About two years ago I got injured to the point that I just stopped. As my body started to react to no pilates (or core-strengthening) I started thinking about how to get back into it. Then I remembered Karen - who had a physical therapy background. I saw Karen because I had really bad knee pain for the past year and finally got fed up with it. After seeing other doctors and physical therapists I went to Karen and instantly noticed a difference. I have seen Karen for two separate issues. She is the best physical therapist I have seen in over 30 years of getting therapy. Most PT places will give you 15 min with your therapist and the rest of the time with an assistant. Karen spends the entire session 1-1 working with your to improve you condition and fine tune any of your treatments. She only sees 1 patient at a time so its she is completely focused on you. She has amazing insights into the core issues and creates a plan that helps rebuild those weak areas to provide a strong foundation to rebuild/resolve your specific issue. I really like the integration of pilates movements as they can be done at home without any equipment. The movements she has me doing target my injury and have I made incredible improvements in a short period of time. I give her my highest recommendation for anyone needing PT for any issues from acute injury, chronic conditions or recovery from surgery. read more
