My wife's aunt was very happy with her gift from her Indiana family. We were able to see pictures and indeed they surpassed our expectations by a long way. Ten years later again looking to send flowers to her for her 90th. Birthday , I turned to Karen's Flowers. Once again they surpassed our expectations. Hands down the best flower shop I have ever worked with. I called in to talk about options that I didn't see on the site and sure enough, they were willing and able to make custom arrangements using what specifications and desires I had. While I learned sunflowers aren't particularly in season right now, their orchids were described to me on the phone as amazing. I didn't doubt their claims but WOW were they phenomenal when I finally saw them. They worked with me on the phone for the right setup and even opted to delivery the same day (less than three hours after my call) in order to ensure my girlfriend got them. I came in here on a fluke to find a cute yet beautiful bouquet for a teen in a school play. I went to a few places and couldn't find anything the right size or suitable. I went in and told them what I was looking for and they showed me the selection of flowers and I was able to tell them what kind I wanted and they put it all together for me in only a few minutes. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my daughter who lives in Gilbert (I live in Colorado). A friend who also lives in Gilbert recommended Karen's. I spoke to Angela when I called. She was super friendly and helpful. A delivery was scheduled and that was that. I have been a customer of Karens since my first dance at the local high school. This has always been a place where I purchased flowers for the then girlfriend, birthdays, mother's day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the always somber funeral. I called to place an order for Mother's Day. The woman I spoke with was kind as we made small talk and she inquired what I was looking for this go around. I told her it was for Mothers Day and that I wasn't sure what I wanted but the colors and flowers I wanted. She asked what price range I would like to be in and I advised that $100 should be fine. As we walked through many ideas, I just told her to make it look big and great with the colors and flowers I wanted. She assured me that it would look beautiful. I reassured her I wasn't worried. My total came in just below $100 for everything. I appreciate that they are always generous with their time both in person and on the phone. They have a wonderful on hand selection and if you do not see what you like, ask and they can order it. They are always fresh, never wilting and last quite a while. While cost is a bit more than your local grocery chain, the quality exceeds any cost. The look and the expressed emotion you are attempting to convey is most important. You cannot go wrong here. I selected my sympathy bouquet and contacted them to be sure they can deliver on time to nearby church on the specific day. They confirmed that they can deliver. Their website message area was limited to what I can say. They agreed to take my message by email and print it to be delivered with the flower. I live in Oregon and I have a dear friend who lives in Gilbert, AZ. For the past year or so, I have used Karen's Flowers in neighboring Mesa on several occasions. Although I never seen (other than photos) the flowers that I purchased, I know they made my friend there very happy. She used to work for a florist and says that Karen's is absolutely the best in the area. And who am I to doubt her? Every one of my telephone (ordering) experiences with Karen's has been a fantastic. They always get it right, to the point of reading back what I wanted inscribed on the accompanying card and making sure it says what I want it to say; even if it's wrong. Less than 10 minutes ago I placed a Valentine's Day order for my friend and the employee who took my order was a delightful person named Rita.
