Pricing is the same $11 for pants clean plus $8 for the repair, still short of the $20 EFTPOS minimum but I'd be prepared to give a $1 tip to get there and support the local business rather than another that doesn't get the job done properly. Overall I've always been satisfied with this place because I never had to wait for a dryer and they have a coin machine, which I need about 99% of the time I go to a laundrette. In terms of price and service I guess it's like everywhere else. Around $2 for 8 minutes in the dryer and you'll probably have to use it twice, maybe 3 times depending on what and how much you put in it. One time there seemed to be a problem with their machines and all the dryers (including stuff that came out of them) smelled of gas. Not very nice. Two of my expensive and new jumpers were badly damaged by dry cleaning. They used to be oversize, very soft and fluffy. But they became significantly shrunk, very tough and too tight to wear. They costed more than $300 in total. He did not apologise at all and became angry with me when I complained about the result. Moreover, he insisted that he would repair them by dry cleaning them again. When I went back to pick them up again, he said that they were not ready yet despite his promise about the date and time for returning. I asked him when they would be available but he did not give me clear date and time. It took a long time to get date and time to come back again from him. When I went back to pick them up again, the jumpers were not improved at all and still in very bad condition. Again no apologies. On the label of the jumpers, it clearly said 'dry cleanable' but he said that they were not dry cleanable and manufacturer gave wrong labels. He actually dry cleaned them twice and promised that he would repair when he insisted that he would do the second try. He refused any reimbursement and compensation, even $20 dry cleaning fee. I brought the jumpers to a store I purchased. They said that the jumpers became like cardboard and extremely shrunk although they used to be nicely big and soft. They also called their central office and confirmed that the jumpers were definitely dry cleanable and that they have not received any complaints like that from their customers. On the label of the jumpers, it says 'cleaner: please use low temperature'. I do not believe that he read it. I also took the damaged jumpers to another dry cleaner and they said that they were dry cleanable but damaged by being treated in a wrong way. I do not want anyone else to have similar experience.
