This place is the business as far as I am concerned…read more I happened to stumble across this place when I was looking to treat my lovely Mammy to a birthday present and I figured that I should do a lil something extra (as the bath salt hampers just don't really cut it anymore after the age of 12 when they are bursting out of the wardrobe still in their unopened crisp packaging). So off I toddled down to check out the place and I was really suprised. as when I walked in the door of the Spa the decor totally changed into a relaxing peaceful and personal sort of place with a small waiting area that you sit in before your treatment, nothing like the hotel that it is attached to (not dissing the hotel, it's just a very typical hotel decor), The parking here is free (score) if you are using the Spa, or it's right on the bus routes from the City centre so it's a easy enough place to get to. Although driving back I nearly fell asleep from relaxation! The staff are really professional and friendly and the products that the use is called Yonka, which is all organic, quite pricey to buy on it's own and extremely addictive! You have your own massage room complete with shower so your not sprinting from a mud bath to the other end of the hotel to rinse off (something like that happened to me before, I looked and felt like swamp thing) with the whole candles, nice relaxing music etc I went in bleary eyed and pale and when I came out I felt like I had just spent a week in a 5 star Spa in Thailand (minus the wallet stinging part). The price is actually really decent here, maybe due to the fact that it is outside the city centre but a 40 minute escale facial was €50 combined with full aroma stone body massage lasting 75 minutes was €100. I have been to places in the city centre that charged way more and I felt like I was paying for the location rather than the treatments. This place is a fantastic way to treat someone (or hey yourself) and the range of treatments is extensive, The one thing is though to make sure to make an appointment well in advance as they are usually booked up on the weekends in particular. They also do a full men's treatment list as well (I have seen some Macho lads come out looking suspiously fresh faced and sweet smelling, or maybe they all got lost on the way to the manly car garage...)

I come here to have my spray tan done because it is a good price €30 for a full body St Tropaz tan, and it is hand done by one of the highly trained girls who get it spot on. I always look good after I get my tan done here! And they understand about drying times and will get your clothes for you and let you stand and dry off in private first even holding your towel out for you, then you can stay and relax for as long as you like afterwards! As Thursday night is tanning night make sure you book ahead, or just choose another day!

I came to get wax and facial treatments every so often/ regularly and…read more I stopped coming here because when I came in for my routine wax, one of the staff would comment about the service and make me feel I was making a bad choice for choosing a waxing service. She also kept offering me laser on two separate occasions and forgot who I was and I had to remind her I did not feel comfortable getting laser from this place right now. When I got laser testing the first time I wasn't shaved and I could smell it burning my hair which made me put off- especially since during my wax session I got wax flung at my eye a few times. Although the rooms were clean, the waxing techniques were not great and a different waxer bruised my skin and ripped my skin. A year on I have scaring from the wax I received. I was going to just leave it and never come back but I recently had to go to a dermatologist and a doctor to get prescribed creams and medication to fix ingrown hairs and scaring I still have. I will leave photos of my progress over the last few months of my upper leg and some of the bikini line- I had some skin ripped but that healed fine, however it's too intimate for me to share where she ripped my skin off :)

Kerala has a great variety of massages from hot stones to slimming massages. They also do different holistic therapies like reiki and ear candling.
