This coffee shop in Gainesville is known for its organic and vegan friendly menu including coffee, tea, ice cream and sandwiches. The clean and modern atmosphere offers free WiFi and both indoor and outdoor seating. I he a large Vanilla Milkshake $7.50. It was so full of vanilla beans and fresh and delicious. The service is friendly and efficient.

It was so good...I forgot to take a picture!!

Even though it was a busy game-day Saturday, we got out food quickly and were able to sit street-side to enjoy our dessert. People milling about, conversations about school, work and vacations darted past our ears, as we decided how to reward ourselves. Wait, they serve sandwiches too?!? The menu on the wall read like a small bistro, but we were here for sweets! The names of the ice creams are off to the left, even though you order near the cash register. Take a peek to save time! There are cookies and smores and more to choose from. I got the blackberry chunk (you can get 1-3 scoops), and it was worth it! My friend got a chocolate chip cookie and another German type of cookie, and we both went outside to talk and enjoy treats! Kinda of a small place with big tastes!!

One of my favorite stops whenever I am in Gainesville. I love all of their drinks, but I am obsessed with their matcha lattes. Perfect amount of sweet with high quality matcha. I also love their dessert/pastry options (they change) & their assortment of ice creams. All of their sandwhiches are vegan/organic, and they even have vegan ice cream! I am personally not vegan, and I have loved everything I have tried. My favorite is their grilled cheese! Food and drink aside, it's also an adorable coffee shop with lots of indoor and a few small outdoor tables (if the weather is nice). I like to go and study/read, but keep in mind that there aren't outlets at every table. The parking can also be rough, but you can pay to parallel park or wait for after 4/5 pm when you don't need a neighborhood decal. So much love for Karma Cream!

Prior to working in the area I had only been here for ice cream and coffee and it was wonderful. The food is delicious! Sandwiches are made to order, vegan and extremely fresh and they offer a gluten-free bread and a gluten-free wrap if you want to mix things up. The only thing is it takes a long time to get a sandwich as they are made fresh so you can't just come in quickly and expect to get served quickly. Amazing pastries -- unusual and thoughtful flavors. All the lattes, teas and coffee drinks are delicious. Sign up for rewards to offset the slightly high prices (but you get what you pay for). Also -- absolutely fantastic service! You can tell the team is proud of the quality they offer. This is a weekly fave.

We were visiting Gainesville from Jacksonville. We were riding our Ebikes on the Gainesville 6th Street Rail Trail to Hawthorn. We rode the Karma Cream on the way back and looked at each other and said "yes to ice cream". * My wife got the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie ice cream. She said it was good. * I got the Birthday Cake Milkshake. It was good. Service was friendly. Shop was clean and very busy! We ate outside at the patio chairs. Definitely recommend Karma Cream.

Awesome place and so many vegan options! I was amazed by how much of their offerings were vegan or could be made vegan. They have ice cream, baked goods and lots of drinks! We got a cookie sandwich and an iced matcha latte. The cookie was delicious (and vegan!). I enjoyed the matcha latte too. It wasn't as strong of a matcha flavor as I usually like, but still super yummy! The workers were all fabulous and the cookie and drinks came out super quickly! It is close to the University of Florida so there were lots of students studying. The vibe is very chill and relaxed, and this would be a great spot to grab a bite & drink and just hang out.

Food: Decent. Vegan options all day. I'm not vegan but they were tasty. Got ice cream (strawberry cheesecake with hot fudge and bananas) and an apple turnover. Both were satisfying, but not knock your socks off. Service: Great! Kind and helpful people. Offered us a rewards card, but since we're out of town or we declined. Ambiance: it was packed, but it felt very chill. Every table was occupied, except for one table outside, which is where we sat. The street noise was kinda nice. The weather was perfect and it was actually pretty quiet in there for it to be packed. Seating is limited, but it fits the vibe. Another review given it to you Straight no chaser! Enjoy!

Listen.... You may or may not be a sweets person. It doesn't matter. Whoever does the baking at this place is a magician. I mean, some serious hocus pocus stuff. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING they bring out is amazing. It's all small batch stuff and rarely do you see the same things in the baked goods case, except for maybe the chocolate chip cookie which are a staple. Don't get me started on the donuts, which apparently are a special treat on the weekend. Cardamom donut?! What the f.....?! Yea, that was my thought too. But holly jesus, I'm here for this sorcery. But you better be there when they come out because the hovering vultures waiting for these holes of magic to come out will snatch them up like the elders snatch up Cialis at the Villages (so I've read, ew. Do your thing grandma). Okay, baked goods aside. The coffee game here is STRONG. Latte, cortado, macchiato, drip, espresso..... try them. They deliver. I visit coffee shops for a living. Not really. I visit coffee shops for a living because I work from coffee shops too often. By default, I'm a coffee house snob, and regrettably/ not regrettably tend to take my first sip, then stare at my cup and critique it in my head like I'm some Anthony Bourdain level food blogger. Hands down, the best coffee I've ever had, anywhere. Any type of coffee. Take your pick. If you looking for a proper religious experience that includes a proper caffeine tweak, with maybe the best blueberry scone of your life, stop in and sip up. You'll thank yourself.

karma cream is such a unique and beautiful café. Everything here is vegan and gluten-free, I believe. I am not one to usually go for gluten free or vegan things, but karma cream does it right! You can't even tell! Anyways, their coffee is pretty basic and taste pretty good. Their baked goods are amazing! And my phone never eats first lol

They make food from their homeland which is made using family recipes. But I was there to try their ice cream since it used to be an ice cream place. I also wanted to try their crepes. So the obvious choice is an ice cream crepe with banana, strawberry, and a ton of ice cream. It was cooked fresh in front of me (thankfully not one of those cook ahead and reheat places) The crepe was enjoyable but average and a little too crispy. The ice cream was disappointing, average ice cream regional supplier, definitely not home made. I may go back and give the crepes one more try, ice cream nope. Also curious about the rest of the menu.

I actually gave them a second chance since I had already been there before but when it was just called La Maracucha and they didn't have half the things they offered. This time I thought perhaps it was a little better since they now had ice cream and crepes, too bad it was not the case. In fact, I didn't really get the order right but I waited sooo long that I didn't want to go back in to complain about it to continue to waste my time.

I settled on some boba tea instead and had oolong but unfortunately they were out of boba balls so I had it without. They added a replacement for the boba balls which was a little off and like a jelly texture . Almost like aloe Vera texture . I still loved their boba tea flavor which I got brown sugar. We also tried 2 mochi. The mochi had a great flavor but the texture was too hard for me. We had the strawberry and coconut mochi but they had other amazing flavors like habanero coffee, expresó , lychee , passion fruit etc. I appreciate that they had so many unique flavors you don't see often. I am not sure if the macaroons are fresh or who makes them but they also had a variety of interesting flavors . Would definitely come back to try other items and flavors that they offer.

Before I say yes to boba tea, though, I ask the waitress for their dessert menu and they sent me to BC Boba Tea & Ice Cream. Apparently Swamp Boil doesn't serve dessert. Anyway, this cute little tea shop also sells some snacks and ice cream. Given my friend wanting some boba tea, the desire was contagious and I wanted one, too. I also figured it made more sense for the road as I had many hours until I would reach South Florida. He ordered an oolong milk tea with boba while I ordered a strawberry green tea with boba. Both were refreshing, but I think I'm happy I stuck with the strawberry green tea. Milk and long car rides aren't good companions and that's with me not being lactose intolerant. Anyhow, the service was fine, a bit cold perhaps, but it is what it is. They have a lovely mural on site and I'm generally curious if this and Swamp Boil are owned by the same person. At any rate, I would go back if in the area.

Their signature…read morechicken salad on toasted sourdough already sounded good, but the way they executed it was on another level. The bread was grilled perfectly, buttery, golden, and exactly the kind of crisp I love. The flavors were unreal. The crispy bacon added that salty, smoky crunch that hits immediately, the muenster cheese brought this smooth, melty richness, and the sweet onion and carrots added the perfect fresh bite. But the real surprise was the honey mustard. I'm a honey mustard lover, but I was honestly skeptical about how much they'd use or whether it would overpower everything. Instead, it was beautifully balanced, but just the right amount of sweetness to bounce off the savory bacon, the creamy chicken salad, and the buttery toast. Every flavor complemented the next, and it all came together in a way that genuinely surprised me. It ended up being one of the most amazing sandwiches I've ever had. I was mesmerized from the first bite to the last. SweetBerries really nailed this one.

The line moved quickly but with enough time for us to figure out the ordering system and to sort through the many options available from the menu board posted on the sidewalk. There are at least 5 sizes (that I can remember) to choose from and thankfully I was sharing a medium otherwise it would have been too much for one person and I only did two steps out of the 3.
