TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've been taking my multiple dogs here on and off for…read moreyears. But over the course of 6+ months, I was getting overcharged for my daycare 10-packs, to the tune of $1,020 (MINIMUM!). I understand mistakes: this is an easy one to make if front desk staff don't know how to charge proper rates (in this case, giving me my "multiple-dog" rate of a 50% discount for daycare passes/packages for the second dog). But what is completely unacceptible is how they handled the issue. I brought it to their attention after realizing how they "punch cards" for daycare, and that they were charging me full price for the second dog. The staff was completely ill-equipped to 1) FIND/VERIFY the issue (after hearing our concern that they said they couldn't verify if I was right by reviewing invoices, and the best they could do was print off 8 pages of hard-to-discern transactions to review, AND we only got the records after asking multiple times, AND they couldn't email the records; they made us come in and request a printed copy), and 2) provide adequate refund, and 3) act in any way apologetic or with an interest in correcting this as a customer service issue. They then referred us to the owner to take it up with him. We contacted the owner and his response via email was: "'I'm in Florida dealing with a sick family member dealing with breast cancer. I should be back in Nashville in 6 weeks. I'll look into this when I return." We respected his personal matter and waited 6 weeks. We've now contacted him twice since then, and still ave no response. We were referred to the OWNER, CHAD, on May 25, wrote him on that day, respected his privacy for 6 weeks, then emailed him twice, and it's now August 2 and we still have no resolution. This place is terrible. DON'T GO. There are SO MANY great dog service businesses in town where they care about their customers. Dog Spot is NOT one of them.

I started seriously questioning returning our puppy because I had ZERO left in me to tolerate her. To make a long story short, we researched dog trainers and were impressed with the amount of positive reviews we read on The Dog Wizard and decided to give the private training sessions a shot. Tate was our trainer and he was heaven sent. I appreciated how he took the time to listen to our individual problems with our pup and never once made me feel like the most clueless dog owner (which I can admit to being at one point). In our sessions I learned an immense amount about how my puppy was interpreting my actions and different methods to try on her. Our sessions were part education and part action. We would apply the newly learned method with the pup until it clicked. Getting a dog trainer does not mean that you are off the hook after he/she leaves. The only way to get your the training methods to stick are to continue to practice them every day. It's a great way to hold you accountable until the next session. I couldn't have been happier with the level of knowledge and accommodation Tate provided us with. Short version: she's amazing with dogs and very quickly got my two out of control dogs under control. She's honorable, professional and provides great value. If you are considering retaining her, do it! Just look at the pictures of my happy dogs. That's all you need to know. Long version: I have worked with Noelle since about March and since that time have come to rely on her for all things dog related. I hired her initially for the intensive dog training, still rely on her for weekly training sessions, and have used her for "house sitting" the dogs when I travel. I recommend all three services as highly as you can recommend anything. Let me explain. On Super Bowl Sunday, 2014, I rescued two French Bulldogs and named them Zeus and Apollo. You may recall these are the names of the exceptionally well behaved Dobermans from Magnum PI. Well, my lads were far from that. They had been smuggled inform Russia and then detained at a farm in 29 Palms with dozens of other dogs. They were about 6 months old, had no potty training and were constantly fighting. They wouldn't sleep or go in their crates. They went to the bathroom in the house it seemed like every 15 minutes. They refused to walk on a leash. After a month, I was sleepless, frustrated and about to quit. Enter Noelle! Within 2 days, they were sleeping in their crates the entire night. They were on the path to be potty trained. She came in for an intensive program (6 hours per day for 10 days or so), but got the dogs under control so quickly that she didn't need to stay for the whole time. So, she graciously agreed to a longer term training program, which we continue to this day. Not only did she train the dogs, she helped me understand how to bring out the best in my dogs. She provided detailed instructions and helped me become a better dog manager. The dogs went from being neurotic monsters to two of the most friendly dogs you can imagine. They are incredibly friendly, great around kids and just love other dogs. This review is for the grooming side only (haven't used the day camp.)…read more My 23 lb beagle mix gets a twice a month bath with special shampoo for his allergies and, because he hates baths and acts like I'm putting him through pure torture, we've opted to go to a groomer for it. Trey has been my dog groomer for over three years now, and he is truly just the best around: incredible groomer, magician with nervy dogs, and just all around kind human. When he moved to Camp Bow Wow earlier this year, it was a no brainer to follow him. He's one of the most reasonably priced groomers in the area and does an incredible job with all sorts of dogs. My dog genuinely loathes bathes and is overall a nervous dog around other dogs. Trey puts him at ease and he comes wagging his tail every time he seems him, even though he knows he's getting a bath. His nails are always filed down and maintained well and he smells so delightful after a groom with adorable fluffy fur! The facility is super clean and I appreciate the dogs are separated for grooming and have their own crates while being groomed. When my dog got skunked when I was out of town last year, for no extra charge, Trey worked his magic and in a couple of visits the smell was almost gone. True miracle worker and I'm so grateful we found him, as it takes a huge headache out of my life and helps me to know I'm always leaving my baby for a few hours with someone I trust. There's a dedicated parking lot for customers and I appreciate that staff is on top of making sure any dog who comes here is up to date on shots/vaccinations. Even though I don't use the day camp services the staff at the front desk are incredibly kind and welcoming to me and my pup and give him little treats and hugs every time we come in. It's a wonderful and welcoming experience and I can't recommend getting your fur child groomed here with Trey enough!
