We purchased a condo a year ago and it was in need of some TLC. We were able to replace carpet in most of the rooms as well as floors in some of the bathrooms, but the tile in the entry, dining room, kitchen and hallways throughout the ground floor could only be given a quick scrubbing before my daughter and her roommates moved in for the school year. So a year later, the number one request was to clean the floors, which to be honest, look like they haven't had a thorough cleaning since the condo was built in the 80s. I put in a request on Yelp! and Glen was one of the first people to respond. We set up for him to come out, inspect and give a quote. He provided a reasonable quote and we scheduled a time. But then life happened and I had to postpone the work. Glen was totally understanding. He gave us our time and even reached out again about the time that I said we would be able to revisit the job. We scheduled the work and he showed up right on time and went to work. In addition to the floors we asked him to clean the carpets. Even though most were installed just last year, there was some signs of heavy wear and stains on a few of the surfaces. Overall, Glen did a great job. The carpets were cleaned and the stains removed. The floors which had been dirty and sticky in some places and the grout practically black were brought back a long way. We have some of the same tile lining the fireplace on the wall and after Glen was finished, the floor resembles the tile on the wall. Best of all, you can now walk on the floors barefoot without sticking to the ground. One last point, in one area of the floor, it looked like some black marks had been left on the ground. After consultation with Glen and some back and forth sharing pictures, we determined that the the black marks were actually under the years of build up and grime and had revealed themselves after all of that had been stripped off. Glen even offered to come out and try to see if he can further clean those marks, definitely above and beyond. Had a scheduled appointment with this guy Glen and he canceled the day of the appointment. Already had stuff moved for the carpet clean so I could be ready for him to do the carpets. Trying to get a carpet guy the day of is almost impossible I feel like it very unprofessional to text and cancel the day your appointment is scheduled. Quote was for 150$ for living room and one bedroom with a small hallway in a small condo in San Luis Obispo. I don't recommend this guy. So hopefully no one else will move all there stuff to have the carpets cleaned and then get canceled on like he did me. Response to his response. Yes I over reacted when you canceled on me the morning of, which I said sorry for right after I sent that text know I overreacted. On the quote you never once said 250$ you told me 170$ then a few days later told me 150$ I never said the anything bad about the pricing, I was just letting people know what you charge. Also you expect me to be happy when you cancel on me day of after I have moved my whole house around for no reason cause I couldn't get anyone over here to do the carpets the same day I know for sure you wouldn't be happy if this happened to you.
