First they messed up on my "spousal supplement" after I signed and contacted them to reject thar line of coverage. They didn't even tell me underwriting rejected it without signing another for until I reached out and stated my policy premium went up and this charge showed up. Thanks Gabriel Galeano for that mess up. Then we got my policy going up from $1100 every 6 months to $1580 the next billing period for no reason but the excuse that there was a 25% increase statewide. Now I'm not a math genius, but that is NOT 25% increase. Then the next policy pay period my insurance went up AGAIN to $1890 FOR NO REASON!!!! I I asked for a rerate on it and told them I was NOT paying for this as I have NEVER GOTTEN INTO ANY ACCIDENTS. Spoke with Nathalie Lopez Arias who by the way was highly condescending and did advise me to go find insurance elsewhere. When I pointed out what she said, she tried to back track like she didn't tell a customer to leave STATE FARM, way to do business. Then I requested a new individual who I though was going to be better, Ana Villamizar, who promised to give me updates and follow up and assured me I had enough time before my insurance police expired to fix this, but she never did! Resulting in my police expiring and I switched over to a different insurance carrier who gave me the proper rates for FULL COVERAGE. THIS OFFICE WAS A NIGHMARE TO WORK WITH. everyone was incompetent. Beware.

Do NOT get your taxes done here…read more I paid $400 to get my taxes amended and it turns out the agent, Gisselle, didn't inform me that my e-file was rejected and that I had to submit by mail. Five months later I was notified by the state that I still owed the original payment plus interest-- they never received my return because it was never sent! When I tried to figure out what happened, it would take weeks to get a response from Gisselle (who had transferred to another location)- I felt like she was giving me the run around. When I would eventually get in touch with her after numerous calls, she'd ask me to re-explain the situation. Id get frustrated about having to re-explain, to which she would say "you're not my only client, I have a lot of clients." I found that to be very rude and inconsiderate of my time, especially when she was the one who made the mistake. After two months of back and forth w Gisselle, i finally asked to work with her supervisor- Angelica (at the Hillside location), who promised to rectify the problem. She had me snail mail the return to the state, which I did. A month later I receive a notice from them they wouldn't accept it because one of the forms wasn't filled out correctly!! I ended up fixing the problem by going somewhere else. I am livid I paid $400 and spent months of phone calls and emails only to go somewhere else bc they were so negligent and incompetent. Now I can't even figure out how to complain to HR block for the money back guarantee-- their 1-800 number takes me to the local office- back to the people who screwed me. TLDR: Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

And then you will have to pay much more extra money to buy points to get the rate they offer you at the beginning. The ridiculous thing is when I asked at the beginning, should I buy points to get a lower rate, they told me, " it is not worth it to buy points". When house at closing process, they told me, " the low rate that I told you was after points, we always told customers the rate after buying points". There are many better choices out there.
