We still interviewed with many of the other Pediatricians in Kailua but once we met Dr. Yim, we knew immediately he was the one. Not just because he could visit us at KMCWC but because we felt a sincere connection from him. We've been seeing Dr. Yim and his staff since our first child was born in 2018, now with our second kiddo we still love him and his staff! They are all so friendly, professional and I know that if I'm being a worry wart mom about something after hours I can text him for a response. What I also love is that he doesn't pressure you to parent in a way that may not be your style. He provides you the tools and resources that helps in your child's growth, as his number 1 priority. My only small but more of a "first world" problem, okay "hawaii living" problem haha is that parking can sometimes be really tight. Otherwise, we love Dr. Yim and will continue using him for our children!

Because of this he is in high demand with multiple passes at diff hospitals and lots of knowledge!! Office doesn't have the easiest parking but the office itself is so nice and clean. There is lots of toys in the waiting room to keep the kids occupied especially when he is running behind. The office visits are usually very efficient and the flow and communication between the assistant and the doctor is effortless. After your child's visit, you will have a sit down consult in his office and he is not shy to pass out his personal number. He is available by text anytime of the day and when your child has a problem he checks on your family constantly! You can tell he truly cares!!! I would def recommend this practice to anyone looking for a knowledgeable compassionate provider!

Because we were scheduled to travel first thing the next morning, we wanted to get answers and treatment as quickly as possible. We suspected strep throat and took him to our regular pediatrician, where a rapid strep test was performed around 1:00 p.m. Unfortunately, hours passed without any results or follow-up, leaving us anxious and unsure of how to proceed before our trip. Then Dr. Nassif stepped in and completely changed the situation. At 7:30 on a Friday night, when many physicians would have already been home for the weekend, she welcomed us into her office, personally evaluated my son, administered a rapid test, and within minutes provided a diagnosis. Even more importantly, she immediately arranged for the necessary medication so that my son could begin treatment, feel better, and be ready to travel the next morning. The level of care, compassion, and dedication we experienced was extraordinary. Dr. Nassif didn't just treat an illness--she alleviated a tremendous amount of stress for our entire family. Her willingness to help after hours, her efficiency, and her genuine concern for her patients went far beyond anything we have ever experienced in pediatric care. In a world where exceptional customer service and personalized medical care can sometimes feel hard to find, Dr. Nassif is a shining example of what healthcare should be. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and commitment to her patients. She turned a stressful situation into a manageable one, and we will never forget it. Thank you, Dr. Nassif for going above and beyond for our family.

The lot is shared with many businesses (cinnamons, Manoa, etc) so if you see those businesses you are in the right place. Enter the building on the side that is facing the parking lot and go to the doors on the left side and up to floor 5. Waiting room is fine but quite small and I wish they had a 'sick' waiting room vs healthy/routine check up area or something. It's hard to keep kids from wanting to explore the room but I'm anxious about sick germs in such a small waiting space. They texted me that I could come 30 mins early if available, so I did and got in right away. I walked out and finished before my actual appointment time even started so that was great! My provider was wonderful, not rushed, and great rapport with kiddo. This was an appt to establish care and do a routine toddler check up. It was very clear our provider read our prior charts from where we transferred and was very in tune with even the smallest details about my kiddos prior care. I wished I could have at least met our primary care Dr, if even briefly during our initial visit to make sure it's a good fit. But the NP we met with was great and we feel good about continuing care. The building is outdated and parking was a bummer but the care seems like good quality and we're excited about continuing care here.

The staff member who initially gathered my information was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, patient, and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. My provider, Marilee Kuulei Owens, FNP, was exceptional. She took the time to sit with me, talk with me, and truly listen. I never once felt dismissed or rushed, and I deeply appreciated that she did not immediately attribute all of my concerns solely to my weight - something that can unfortunately happen far too often. Instead, she asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully, and answered every question I had with care and respect. My first visit was an incredibly positive experience. Two weeks later, I returned for my well-woman visit, something that gives me a great deal of anxiety. Ms. Owens was amazing at helping to ease that anxiety the best she could and the nurse who assisted during the appointment was equally kind, gentle, and reassuring. The entire experience was handled with such compassion and professionalism that I honestly couldn't imagine having wanted anyone else. I'm excited to have Ms. Owens as my primary care provider moving forward. I drive all the way from Pearl City to Kailua, and I have absolutely no regrets. I'm very grateful to be under the care of Tradewinds Family Medical Center and highly recommend them so far!
