The staff are new again and they don't keep patients in order like ones that sit and talk on the telephone in the waiting room and have no consideration for other patients I would think the staff would say something but they keep the glass partitions closed to shut you out. And they are not consistent about calling to tell you Dr. Manadan won't be in the office so you show up and have to leave. then if you need your medicine he will not give it to you even though it wasn't your fault and you will have to go X amount of time without it, until he sees you. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!…read more I actually did not go to the office but did have a virtual visit with Nurse Practitioner Brenda Sporn. I did not choose the location the call center chose the location based on my zip code. First mistake, they should ask the patient where they would like to get treatment. I had a virtual visit with this woman (who is not a doctor by the way) and she took a really long time in the first place just to start the Zoom call. Then when she got on the call. There was no welcoming smile, nothing!!! the top of her forehead and the back wall is what I was looking at. I explained that I was traveling in the next 2 weeks and I needed a Covid test within 5 days of date of travel and she mentioned that she didn't think I would get the results on time because it would take 7-10 buisness days and since I needed the test within a 5 day time frame that I would most likely not get the results in time. She told me to go to other places outside of ACPNY. I had already checked those places before calling ACPNY and knew they did not offer the rapid test. I told her that I was told from another individual who recently got the rapid test done at an ACPNY location that they do in fact provide those tests to which she replied "we don't do it here, but the Forest Hills location does, you can call them" The whole time not once did we make eye contact, because again i was looking at her forehead. She was talking to another staff member the whole time. Very unprofessional! She then gave me the number to what I thought was the FH location and asked me where I was going and told me to enjoy. When i got off the call i called the number she gave me and it wasn't the forest hills office, it was City MD!! Really???!! I looked up the number myself and called myself an explained to them what I needed. they confirmed that they did in fact administer rapid COVID tests and then we looked at the calendar together to determine the best date to come in so that the results would be in within the 5 day time frame. I had my appointment all set for the 10th of Aug which would give me enough time by the 13th. For 2 weeks i received reminders about the appointment and thought I was all set! This was not the case. I arrived to my appointment at the FH location 15 minutes before as instructed and then I get a call. "the doctor never put in an order for the test, we cannot test you" they told me they sent her a message the Friday before to let her know that there was no order in. She never responded! I was outside the FH location in the heat for 2 hours going back and forth trying to reach Brenda Sporn. The staff at the FH location were trying as well. One woman finally told me to go home because there was nothing they could do. On my way home I was calling several other places, no luck. I got home and called ACPNY several times trying to get Brenda Sporn on the phone. She never once came to the phone. These phone calls lasted from about 12 noon til about 4:30 pm. Everyone I spoke to said they would send her a message and I even sent her 2 messages through the portal, to which she never responded. After many, many phone calls and hours on hold and many "we will call you back" (which they never did) and me pleading with them that I really need the test to be ordered and I need an appointment for the following day Brenda Sporn finally put in an order for a test. Was it the correct order? NOPE!!!! however, I did not know this until I arrive the next day for my appointment and get shoved up the nose with a nasal swab and I'm told "ok 6-10 days" I was flabbergasted!! I almost lost it! I said to the kind nurse, "this was supposed to be the rapid test, I am flying out on Thursday and needed the rapid" he was so kind he checked and NOPE no rapid test ordered. He was so nice, he swabbed me for the rapid but said he could not send it out unless the doctor ordered it. Once again I was on the phone trying to reach Brenda Sporn. Again, she never came to the phone, countless, we will call you back responses. The nurse from FH tried reaching her as well and she to make this shorter she flat out refused to put in the order. She kept insisting that they do not do rapid tests, then she said the airlines do not accept the test ( ummm, I think I would know what is being accepted and what is not, and what is it to her anyway, leave that up to the patient) By 4:30 pm they told me she left for the day and did not put in the order. Brenda Sporn, nurse practitioner is unbelievably unprofessional, rude and does not care about patients. I would tell everyone to stay away from her. Do not accept an appointment with her.

Some of his staff was great, but our last and final visit, sealed the deal. My son was having surgery, and me and my wife had to get some paperwork. Dr yakov acted like he was unconcerned about it. We said this would be the last time coming here. How can you be a pediatrician and not have compassion or kindness towards a little toddler.
