My body felt incredibly relaxed. While the service was outstanding, I will say it was very difficult to find her business. She actually operates out of a two story house in a quiet residential neighborhood that's morphing into commercial lots situated behind bustling Main Street. She shares the space with a hair salon. When booking the appointment, it would have been helpful for the secretary/ person answering to give that heads up since I had explained I was from out of state. Also I arrived just as they were opening, it's winter, the place was chilly & it took a long time to warm up in there. At first he offered me a damp towel. I said 'hey no this is damp, are you nuts? It's cold in here! at least give me a dry towel.' Otherwise all great! An affordable price, great deep tissue massage, sorted out my janked up back & hips. I agree with others that this place isn't a "spa" but really just a small office with a few massage rooms (the rooms were too small for us to be in the same room doing deep tissue-- which we were fine with). The quality of massage therapist is truly where Hampton Spa Tranquility shines. We were taken in for our appointment right away and as soon as our therapists started I could tell they knew what they were doing. Perfect pressure, not super strong/aggressive smelling oils or lotions, full body work and she checked in with me several times to entire the pressure was satisfactory. I wish this place was closer to the city, I'd go once a month! $130 for a 90 minute deep tissue. Can't be beat!!
