While on vacation in Sag, I decided to treat myself to a deep tissue massage. I have been regularly going for massages over the past 15 years and can confidently say the massage I received from Shirley was top notch. She used just the right amount of pressure. My body felt incredibly relaxed. While the service was outstanding, I will say it was very difficult to find her business. She actually operates out of a two story house in a quiet residential neighborhood that's morphing into commercial lots situated behind bustling Main Street. She shares the space with a hair salon. When booking the appointment, it would have been helpful for the secretary/ person answering to give that heads up since I had explained I was from out of state. Let's just say as soon as Shirley touches your body, it feels like "24 Karat Magic is in the Aiiiiiiiiiiiir" in Bruno Mars's voice... with no Exaggeration. Her hands instantaneously connects with your body. She is a beautiful and a wonderful person inside and out with exceptional customer service and professionalism. I have found the best waxing salon that exists. I won't go to anyone else besides Shirley ever again! She does a fantastic job and I feel calm and clean and relaxed while she is waxing me. The facility is beautiful and well kept and sanitary. Shirley is super nice and when I feel nervous about getting a wax she makes me feel much better. It is a small intimate one room studio right across the Sag Harbor post office, simply decorated with aromatherapy and candles. Shirley's space is very clean and relaxing. I went for a deep tissue massage after a strenuous week of intense workout. Not only were Shirley's massage movements strong and smooth, her hands were also the perfect warm temperature that a strained body needs (nothing is more disappointing to me than a massage therapist with cold hands). She is gentle in understanding your body type, yet she can be firm with her massage. This place should be on your list when you visit Sag Harbor.
