Facility is clean & staff cleans rooms, bedding, etc., throughout the day. Therapists are excellent. Patient, polite &, I believe, highly qualified. Staff - nurses, therapists, etc., are friendly & helpful. Food is tasty & plentiful - quality food. Breakfast is light; however, lunch & dinner are full meals. A menu is available in the event you do not want the meal being served - sandwiches, cheeseburgers, chicken salad, etc. My only drawback was a waiting time when calling for assistance. Instead, I showed up, was place in a room to watch a 45 minute video on my condition. I had been through orthopedic interventions already and also did my own homework on my condition, so most of the video I already knew. I was ready for pain relief and was deeply upset. After the video, I was given a book to help with my condition. I thought that was cool and went home. Literally, what little invention I had during this hour+ visit included an evaluation of my walking gait, a couple of pokes "does this hurt?" and a quick adjustment the included pulling on my legs. No tools used etc. Fast forward to today. To watch a long outdated video, be "given" a book and a couple pulls on the leg I was billed $226.00 (including $25 for the book that was "given" to me. No one said I would be billed for that.) I am not happy with my first experience. If anything I feel insulted. While I watched a video, she was just racking up the dollars. She may be an expert in her field, but billing practices need to be addressed. I was charged less for my actual injection from a medical doctor that DID relieve pain for a bit.

Not only is it hard to find a place to take older kids but it's hard to find a place that actually cares about your child and their families too. They have been great about working with My son and teaching us as a family how we can help him too. I love it so much that I switched his speech to Joy and my daughters OT to Joy. I have not dealt with a bad therapist there. Even the front desk ladies are amazing.
