Carbon fiber tripods are a super popular item that they sell in addition to clamps, plates, heads, etc. The one thing that may turn people away is price. They are very high end equipment, but very well made and of high quality. I recently purchased a BH-55 Ballhead and 192 FAS Nodal Slide for pano shots from them and I have nothing but high praises for the products. The ballhead is very well made, I never have to worry about my camera slipping off or moving around while mounted to it. It features an Arca-Swiss clamp which I ordered with the screw knob over the lever release style. It has a very smooth operation and when you rotate it, it's also very smooth. The Nodal Clamp, which is used primarily for panoramic shots to give you perfect stitching abilities by eliminating parallax effects is another quality product. Machined to exact standards, you never have to be concerned about poor workmanship when purchasing any of their products. I give them four solid stars for quality workmanship. Price is a factor, but if you want the best, you will pay the price! Solid Four Stars * * * * 5-13-16 I am now using a TVC-34 carbon fiber tripod with the BH-55 ballhead by RRS and I can't say enough great things about it! If you are really serious about your photography, you should have the most stable base for your camera. You can have the best equipment, but if you intend to support it on a pair of "bird legs", you're not going to get optimal results. The TVC-34 is a super solid mountain of a tripod and you can feel how stable it is. I highly recommend it!!

The L Backet I ordered was lost by UPS, and was marked as delivered. CCTV footages from the same date showed that no driver arrived at my door. UPS keeps proof of delivery for 120 days. In my case, the proof of delivery was never added in the system so they could not provide any proof, from 60 days earlier. I paid $220 for an L Bracket, $35 processing fee, $22 for US Tarrifs, $92 tax to UAE, and $88 for shipping with UPS. UPS now admit they have lost the package and have no proof of delivery and will refund the costs, only if the sender files a claim. UPS will not allow the receiver to file a claim. As per the response of Benjamin: "Once an order leaves our facility, it is in the possession of the carrier. In this case, the package was shipped via UPS and marked as delivered. At that point, our obligation for fulfillment was completed." Stay away from Really Right Stuff

My pack has never failed me and I have put some miles on it. We have crisscrossed Europe. Been to South and Central America. More places in Mexico then I can remember and a few I don't want to remember. Canada. All over the USA homeland. 12 trips to Hawaii and going again in December. Going to the Havana Jazz Festival in 2017 and then probably to Egypt after that. It's had one small repair that was totally because of my stupidity. Fortunately I learned how to sew when I was young and stitched it up as good as new. I stopped by Wayne's original shop looking for an oversized day pack about 1977. I stopped by often when in the area. The Day & a Half was perfect! I just didn't care for the colors he had on hand and wanted dark brown. He said he would build me a couple, one for me and one for my Wife. I went by a few days later to pick them up and they were beautiful. Everything Wayne Gregory built was a hand made work of art. He took a set of steel letter dies and punched our names into the leather tabs on each pack. It made our interviews look much better with the windows, open ceiling and hardwood floors. I would love to come back and film again. The traffic near the building occasionally had sound issues, but it's on par with sound you would get anywhere else. Also be forewarned that it is on the second floor with stairs. But both these issues are worth it for the natural backdrop. I would say, for us these really were not issues. I'm just letting people know.

Let's say Bruno Mars short. Kevin Hart short. Sammy Davis, Jr. short. You know, short, but workable short. I walked into the American Fork Allen's Tuxedo on a Saturday morning and the associate took one look at me and said they wouldn't have anything that would work for me. So I said nothing? Let's pretend I'm a kid going to prom. You don't work with short kids? They didn't have anything. I asked well what if I bought a tux and could have it altered? They don't do that, and even if they did it would be expensive. Well expense isn't really an issue here. I'm sorry sir. I wish I could help you but I can't. Folks, I was floored! I'm going to chalk it all up to this particular associate just having a bad day, because wow! I'm going to say if you are normal size you won't have a problem here. My situation is unique. But look, I'm certain they COULD have worked with me. They chose not to. Men's Wearhouse had no problems with me and everything went fine with them. Short yes. Unique situation yes. But this was just plain awful customer service. It wasn't handled well. So there it is. Take it as you will. Maybe you won't run into this associate. Maybe you will. If you do you must be THIS tall to ride the ride. In a final irony, the associate was shorter than me.
