But, it was packed with unique, locally made art goods (95% Asheville artists, 5% Tennessee/Kentucky they say) that were awesome AND affordable. Pottery, wood carvings, textiles, Christmas ornaments, cookware, glass art, paintings, and more. I liked most everything I saw, and again, it was artistry that wouldn't break your bank. The customer service was so friendly, and the nice lady working really wanted to connect with us, and also tell more about the artists who made some of the different art. Informative, funny, kind - she was great. I would recommend this to EVERY Asheville tourist looking for something unique to take home, rather than junky trinkets made in China that you can find in every American gift shop.

The also have artwork, wooden pens, and soaps/lotions. The prices are what you would expect in Blowing Rock, but regardless, I was happy with my purchases. I'll definitely be back!

The space is open and welcoming. They have a variety of expensive and affordable, big and small. There is a lot of art- hanging and out on shelves. They also have pottery and a ton of pretty handmade jewelry. You can find some snacks and soaps here as well as the occasional card and or print. They also have some nice leather bags. Great for some street browsing. Would be easy to leave with something unique and special.

The new owner who was a student of the original was great to chat with about the business and possibly doing some custom pieces for us. We loved the pottery here and can't wait to go back. Of all the places downtown this actually also has great parking because they have their own lot! Another Shelby gem!
