Warning We purchased a table from this thrift store about a month ago, with delivery to be arranged later. Over that month, we called multiple times trying to schedule it, but no one would help or check on the order. We had always made a point to support this store--even going out of our way to bring our donations there--because we believed in supporting a local cause. Delivery was finally set up on April 16th by the delivery person. However, when the delivery was supposed to take place, we received a call saying the table was no longer available--they had put it back out on the floor and sold it again after already scheduling delivery. That makes absolutely no sense. Also, when going to collect a refund-that table was on the floor-they could have made this right, but chose not.to... Adding to the frustration, when we called today for answers, Brianna was extremely rude and hung up on me while I was trying to get information. I called back and spoke with Taylor, who was more understanding, but still did not take steps to make the situation right. From a customer standpoint, this did not feel like an ethical or fair way to handle a paid purchase that had already been committed to a buyer. We understand mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability, organization, and follow-through made this situation much worse. After this experience, we will not be shopping here again. read more

Been shopping here weekly since they were at the formal building always gotten some nice items. Now the nicer items are in cabinets with signs to go on line to bid only for them. I will not go on line to bid on an item. read more

I had a leather sectional sofa and large rug picked up and the young men were amazing! They called beforehand to come a bit early, showed up on time, and were so polite and respectful. I can't say enough about Chance and Micah, they made very short work of removing and loading the sofa and rug. I hate to be the bad apple, but I got home and did not have 2 items in my bag that i had purchased. The girl had put them in a smaller bag and put them beside the register. So they didn't get put in my larger bag. If anyone happens to have a cd and a pair of ear rings that they didn't purchase, the store has my name and number. Wanted the cd for a grandchild. I love this place! I have found skirts & tops, shoes, toys, dishes , furniture & other household items here at great prices and was able to furnish my new apartment from Safe Harbor Resource Warehouse. The money goes to a good cause also. read more

ReSource Warehouse is a creative reuse business that supports the ministry of Safe Harbor Rescue Mission. The back area of the warehouse has all kinds of bulk items, many of which would otherwise be going to a dumpster or landfill, at 50 to 70% off retail...a thrift shopper and artist's dream. The front gallery area boasts unique arts and crafts, funky and vintage items, most of which have an element of creative reuse. Love the selection of random items, but I hate that the woman running the front, store part (middle aged, shoulder-length hair) is so rude! She looked down on me as though I were trying to steal something or shouldn't be there (I go at least twice a month and always leave with at least one item). I also witnessed her discourage a local artist who came in wanting to sell his items. Apparently, they "pick and choose" which artists can display their items....kinda goes against their philosophy....I will go back, though, to the warehouse part. The woman there - Nancy - is very helpful. She should be in charge of the whole store! read more

Love! The store has so many great, fun items, and the warehouse- well it is a dream for anyone who love pinterest!

This place really is an artist's dream...I'm learning to sew and found a book on sewing that I paid $2 for. There were lots of other craft How-To books. They also have great scrap fabric for really cheap in their back warehouse along with partially used buckets of paint, brushes, and tons of other craft needs that would cost you a lot more if you bought them brand new elsewhere. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because I think they should have craft classes (which they said they might start doing). I was not very impressed with the front portion of the store (the "gallery") but that is just a matter of my own aesthetic preference. It's still a very cool place, and I would recommend ReSource to anyone who is postponing their craft dreams due to their financial status. It's a very smart business in our bad economy. If you check out this store, you also might be interested in going by The Hickory Tree furniture consignment shop on Old Lenoir Road; they are within walking distance of eachother. They have great deals on furniture and the owners are extremely helpful and good people. read more
