My ob was not on call that evening (sad, because he's great!), but I had the privilege of receiving care from Dr. lao! My first baby I got the epidural, but this one I was hoping to go unmedicated. MAN is that so much easier said than done! As I lingered for awhile at 9/10 centimeters, I was becoming more and more tired, scared, and indecisive on my next steps for bringing my son into the world. Every contraction made me less confident that I could do it, but Dr Lao was one of the 3 in the room who reassured me and helped me through! My biggest praise has to go to her CALM CALM demeanor. What a difference that made! She was incredibly patient with my indecisiveness, never pressed me for what she wanted over what I wanted, but also (so) kindly gave her recommendations and gave me both the space to think things through and all the options before me. She also took great care and extra steps in physically delivering my son, and honored my wish to delay cord clamping until the cord turned white. Never with a hint of annoyance either. Thank you Dr. Lao!!

I have another appointment in August but one of the front lady's was being rude about it when I canceled it on the Healow app. The front people didn't tell me about the app until I was ready to have my baby. I don't know who to reach out to if anyone can help please let me know now, I found out I was pregnant and called to make an appointment here they made me an appointment as soon as they could. I was nervous for my first visit but I got treated very well and even got sent home with an extra ultrasound picture of my baby lol. I went here my whole pregnancy from 9 weeks until I had my baby. With being in the hospital several times he was always quick to respond to get the best results for me and get me through for my iron and blood transfusions every other week having a high risk pregnancy and high risk anemia. Having a c section was super scary for me but Dr Akerman gave me the support and told me everything will be okay and pretty much helped me calm down with my anxiety and nerves. The procedure was very quick and my healing process went well. I plan to have one more baby in the future and will definitely come back here as he was super helpful and the staff as well were very nice.

One of my favorite details is the wall of photos of Dr. Tran-Kim with babies she has delivered, arranged into a heart. I was told they update the photos and change the display into a Christmas tree during the holidays, which I thought was such a cute and personal touch. Dr. Tran-Kim, the founder and primary physician, is incredible. She talks about wanting her patients to be "healthy inside and feel beautiful outside," and I think that really comes through in the practice. I've never felt rushed during my visits. She takes the time to answer questions, explain treatment options, and make sure you actually understand your care. Something I really appreciate about Dr. Tran-Kim is that even though she owns and runs the clinic, she is still actively practicing as an OB/GYN. She continues to deliver her own patients and perform surgeries. I really like that because there's something reassuring about having an OB/GYN who follows through with your care. If I were pregnant, I would personally love knowing that the doctor I built a relationship with would also be the one caring for me during delivery, rather than having to wonder who might ultimately be on call. I personally like that they offer aesthetic and wellness options alongside traditional women's health care. I know that may not be for everyone, but if I ever decided to have an aesthetic treatment, I would much rather have it done through a health practice where I can actually see the doctor and have the treatment backed by medical knowledge and oversight. I appreciate being able to hear directly from a physician about treatments and what they recommend rather than going somewhere that is strictly focused on cosmetics. I've noticed there's really something here for women at different stages of life, whether you're coming in for routine gynecologic care, pregnancy, postpartum care, or are interested in some of the wellness or aesthetic options. For me, what stood out most is that the practice still feels personal. Dr. Tran-Kim isn't just running the clinic; she still sees patients, delivers babies, performs surgeries, and takes the time to actually talk to people. He always took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and reassure me that we were going to do everything possible to make sure my baby arrived safely and healthy. His confidence and constant reassurance helped me get through some of the most difficult and emotional moments of my pregnancy. When it was finally time to deliver, he made sure both my baby and I were safe and well cared for. And before even entering the room I was waiting in, I hear her tell a nurse if I knew I lost the baby. She said that in front of all the nurses and people waiting in the waiting area. That is how I found out I miscarried. She then proceeded to say I needed a D&C even though I wasn't far along. I paid so much money out of pocket for her to even do the damn procedure and not including what the hospital charged me. She didn't offer any support or guidance whatsoever when I became very depressed and wouldn't even sign a form from my job that was asking for two weeks off to cope with my heavy bleeding and depression. I ended up in the ER multiple times, but because of insurance issues, it took over a month to schedule surgery. When I came to his office, the staff was incredibly kind and did everything they could to squeeze me in ASAP. Every time I've had an emergency or urgent concern, they've been so supportive. You can tell they really care. Fast forward a couple years--during a routine checkup, they found another cyst. Thankfully it was caught early, and I had a second surgery. After that, Dr. Quach helped guide me through my pregnancy journey, and I just had my baby two months ago! If you're looking for an OB you can truly trust and feel safe with, especially during delivery, Dr. Quach is the one. He's not just knowledgeable--he's calm, supportive, and makes you feel taken care of from beginning to end. Highly, highly recommend.
