Great experience on Main Street in Ambler…read more Ambler Theater is a very relaxed experience with a hand full of staff that makes you feel welcome. The movie theater is very old however it brings with it wonderful charm. My girlfriend and I have been coming here for just about a year now and are thinking of becoming members (this is a non-profit movie theater that exists by the support of its members). This spot reminds me of the Ritz movie theaters in center city without the hustle bustle. Definitely check it out for a date night or a reason to check out the quiant town of Ambler. Well, this was everything I wanted and more! We are still talking about it! There weee 16 of us ages 65-2. Half the group were kids. The artist was amazing with the kids. The staff is great, there are a lot of different ceramics to choose from (I went for this lovely vintage-style bird, but if you have a thing for an octopus wearing a baseball cap, then this is your place, too!) and tons of glaze colors. We were happy to hear that it's only going to take a few days for them to be fired and returned to us, so we'll have our masterpieces by the weekend. Hurrah!

The school is like a big family, with older students having opportunities to student teach and lead the younger ones. I've found the costumes and music to be age appropriate (quite different from some of the attire and song choices I've seen from other dance schools at competitions). Highly recommend!

My daughter has been going to BBSD for many years, we actually switched from another dance school…read moreto BBSD. She loves that the girls in classes and teachers have become her family. She student teaches and loves seeing the younger girls as they get older and has been such a positive experience for her. During the pandemic dance kept her sane and we wouldn't of survived without BBSD. Now my granddaughter dances there as well and she can't wait for Sept to start. Miss Angie is the best as well as all the teachers.
