We had the absolute worst experience yesterday! The owner is neither helpful, nor sympathetic! We brought our Shih-Tzus for a grooming and my retriever for a bath. We were overcharged, and given our dogs back, two completely bald and still with fleas! We will never use this groomer again, I am livid she charged us $175 to completely shave down my two dogs, and bathe the other! I could have done all that at home myself! Do not use this groomer! I wouldn't bring my animals anyplace else. They use quality products, not dawn dish soap ive had used on my pets at some other groomers, and are very attentive to my fur babies needs. I know, first hand the owner is knowledgeable and very caring. If she sees , what her opinion, could possibly be a health issue with your dog (skin allergies, ear problems, etc.) she informs you. I trust her and her employee implicitly. read more

Took both of dogs here on separate occasions. First occasion our retriever was there for over 6 hours and when we picked her up "fat shamed" and we were told needed to loose 20 lbs before they groomed her again. Second occasion we let them know I work across town I would be on my lunch and coming through traffic. Came in 9 minutes late and we were charged $25 late fee after we already waited 4 weeks for that appointment. Needless to say we won't be returning here. read more

Let me rate this establishment in segments to better do it justice. I called them around 1:00 pm to schedule my lab for grooming. The lady said she could fit me in if I made it by 1:30. I was appreciative and will give this segment 5 stars. I showed up about ten minutes later and the intake was fairly smooth. I didn't wait too awful long and they were expecting me. The person that attended me couldn't answer many of my questions, but was nice. I'll give then 3 stars. Here is where is starts to go south. The grooming lady came out and quoted $35 for a bath, nails clipped, ears cleaned, and anal glands cleaned. I thought it was a good deal. I asked about trimming my lab's hair and got a deer in the headlights look followed by "uh...........$80". Needless to say I did not opt for the haircut. So I left about 1:45 or feeling confident about the quality of the place. Several hours later, around 5:45 or so I received a call saying that they just now put my dog on the table and that he would be ready in 15 minutes. This call was a red flag. The place closes at 6:00 pm so I presumed they were going to do a rushed job to get home in time. My instincts regarding the call were correct. They did not cut his nails and claimed that he bit them and did not allow it. In four years his nails have been tended to without issue. When the said he tried biting them I know the truth. Never has my dog growled at someone much less bit them. He grew up with several toddlers who do everything from ride him, play with his feet, to pull his tail. NEVER has he even barked at them. So their excuse translates to "he sat around for four hours and we finally got to him. We didn't want to be late for dinner and didn't attempt to cut his nails. Here's your dog." Before I took him I asked if the price would be less, of course it was not. I cannot in good faith give a business that cannot accomplish the promised service and still charges for said service more than two stars. Their store does have a good variety of food and treats. So for that 5 stars, but that alone will not earn my business. I will not return. In conclusion if you need a hard to find dog food this maybe worth your efforts. If you are looking for a dog groomer you may want to try elsewhere. read more

Really? I don't know how well they groom pets here but I can tell you that they will never be afforded the opportunity to get their 'paws' on my money. I called today and some lady name Mary answered the phone, immediately putting me on hold. I waited for over 9 minutes before giving up. Then I called again a little while ago, a guy answered and also put me on hold while he and 'Mary' were talking about whatever, that lasted about 4 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! YOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY WOULD HAVE A LITTLE MORE COURTESY FOR CUSTOMERS! When Mary finally got in the phone she talked about their services and fees; Hello? I was a very loyal customer since it opened a few years ago. Years prior and it Jason new owners. I will never go back there again. I bought all pet food and grooming services regularly. Owner told me my dog was out of control and she wanted to strike her for bad behavior. They pinned her down to brush her. Not safe place. They did a great job with our large Bernese Mountain Dog! She was so clean and trimmed exactly as I wanted!

Did a good job with my dogs, but charged me more than I was quoted over the phone, making it way overpriced compared to other small towns I've lived in. Also, they did my dog's glands and he was really sore the next day. Might try someplace else next month! read more

This is my frist time using the grooming service. They did a really good job with one of the dogs I'm taking care right now. He was cleaned and smell great. $35 wasn't bad for a bath and nails grind. The owner is really nice. They told me he would be ready in 3 or 4 hours. I called to checked on him and they said he would take 45 minutes more. I hang my phone and I was ready to call back but they did it frist. In 45 minutes exactly they told me he was ready for pick up. Their store have a lot of variety of food and stuff for your pets. If they don't have what you need they will order it for you. read more

I will never be using this groomer again! I brought my two shih-tzus to be groomed, they had some mats and fleas. She charged me $120 and completely shaved them bald! There was no hair left on them at all, not even their tails face and ears! And they are completely unrecognizable and do not even resemble a shih-tzu! Pampered Pets is way overpriced, and it really seemed as though the groomer got lazy, and didn't even bother to try and groom my dogs properly, just picked up the clippers and started shaving! If I wanted them completely bald, I would have gotten clippers and done it myself for free! read more

This place doesn't do a good job at all. I don't know where the good reviews came from. Maybe the owners made a few fake profiles or hired someone to put good reviews about them. They are rude and unprofessional. If you like your dog cut a certain way don't expect them to listen to you. They cut them anyway they want. My dog looked terrible after taking her here. My dog came in today for a bath and nail clipping. When the call came to pick him up, his nails were NOT cut, and he was still wet. Yes it's raining today but a half done job means the job wasn't done. The excuses for not cutting his nails, the owner was afraid of being bit by this healer/dachshund mix that is only 20 pounds. When he was brought into the store, the manager said if there was an issue with cutting his nails my wife would be allowed to hold him while the staff took care of the problem. Needless to say, when it was time to pick him up, they reneged saying they weren't going to do that here. Then the owner changed her mind saying fine, we'll do it, but if we get bit, we're going to sue...really, threated a law suit because you don't know how to befriend a dog to take care of it. Then came the complaints from the owner about how he crapped three times in the back. Well what do expect from a scared animal? As he was being taken out of the store, he would look at the staff working there and snarl at them. Leaves me to wonder what was going on, this fella is almost five and never met someone he didn't like until he went to this place. Another of my dogs is Lhasa Apso. We keep her hair cut short and have had the same hair cut on her for all of 12 plus years of life. After giving explicit instructions on how short to cut her hair and we want it all off, the person they hired couldn't do it. Why? Love to know, but that person was already gone for the day and no one else knew how to give a dog a hair cut there. Of course the offer to bring her back tomorrow to finish the cut was made. Will she be going back, no, not ever. Once again, they threated to sue us because they can't do their job. The incompetence is glaring and not worth the headache to get it done right. Change the name of the store or relocate, I will repost this to what ever you want to call this business. Stay away, don't go, trust your dogs before you trust people. 23May2017. Mr. T.L.
