We've been using the pet care since in 2015, our two maltipoos were seen by the previous vet, who was also our neighbor. He retired and Dr Joki is now the doctor we see, we honestly did not expect to have such a stellar experience but are impressed with her and her staff's expertise and compassion. When our sweet maltipoo girl passed away a few weeks ago, the doctors and staff were tender with our little girl and helped her pass quickly. They are as compassionate and caring as any doctor could be. It's a frequent experience for them to put pets to sleep, so one would think they are immune to it all by now....they're not. When Dr Pearson adminstered the final injection for our little girl, she had tears in her eyes, she felt our pain and it was obvious. We have two new girls now and we are absolutley thrilled to have them but they do not fill the hole left by our little girl. Compassionate care for your fur babies is what you can expect from these people. I've seen other reviews and I honestly think the reviewers are confused about who they saw. Westwood Pet Care is the best. We trust them to care for our puppies. No matter how old they are, they are still puppies to us. In our estimation, they are the best around. read more

The staff were phenomenal and super sweet! I appreciated that I was taken back right on time for my appointment and I didn't have to wait long before seeing the vet. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I want to start with saying the professionalism, compassion, and the integrity left with Lynn, Kim & Dr. Fontaine. They were the cream of the crop, best of the best. I've used him & his staff for a consistent 15 years before he started to take an understandable step back around the time covid started. Dr. Fontaine knew my Schnauzer was allergic to vaccines and had a very scary episode that landed us at the emergency vet due to an allergic reaction. Since then he recommended we only titer test Cullen and that's worked so well for him. That was over 8 years ago. His itching, chewing, and allergy issues actually all benefited from this. His quality of life improved drastically. He did one last titer on Cullen checking for 3 different immunities and senior blood work, panels, everything he could and then retired before I got my results back leaving it to Dr. Jokey and staff to get these to me. This was in May of 2022. I've called several times to ask for these results with no avail. I was told they'd be emailed to me, nothing. Today I called and spoke with Vicky. I was very straightforward and asked her to get them for me or to at least refund my money when she said she couldn't find them. She then proceeded to tell me that I was rude and needed to calm down and not raise my voice. I had not once raised my voice or said anything out of the way or unreasonable. I spend thousands at this clinic and while I don't ever question the price or testing I do expect to get the results. I was told that Dr. Jokey would no continue with titers which is totally fine and up to her as it's her practice, but to not give a paying clients results that your clinic performed is unacceptable. It's been well over 6 months and I need to get my 14 year old Cullen set and seen by a new vets office! Which requires his records that I am LEGALLY entitled to and they are LEGALLY obligated to provide. When I went in to pick these records up and ask for my other 4 pets records I was told "good this whole office has had problems with you and we don't want to provide services to any of your pets. I don't have time to print that off but I will call an officer to escort you out." And handed an envelope that contained "his records." I will post a photo of the contents below! It was only one result of rabies. None of my other testing paid for was even mentioned. None of his labs or anything! My immediate response was to ask if Dr. Jokey had knowledge of this to which they replied yes. I haven't been in that office to meet ANY of that stuff since Dr. Fontaine left in May 2022. The only thing I've ever had contact with them over is to request these records and result and I've never done so in a rude manner. Customer service, friendliness, and compassion are everything and this clinic lacks severely in every aspect. I'm ashamed to have ever recommended them to any of my clients. As a pet professional I do not recommend this clinic. read more

I wanted to give this vet 0 stars but it wouldn't let me. Worst experience we've ever had at a vet. She walked into the room and never called my dog by his name. My dog snipped at her. She tried to give a treat and he snipped at her again. This is a dog that loves everyone and wants to kiss everyone. The vet charged for an office call and never listened to his heart and lungs or palates his abdomen. We went in for a checkup, heartworm test, and bordatella vaccine. She never gave the full vaccine and said my dog will be ok with only 10% of the vaccine. We're searching for a good vet now. The vet who used to own this clinic was wonderful and is sorely missed. Don't go to this vet if you love your pets. read more

I have used Dr Fontaine for a number of years for my dog and cats. Always got excellent service. The staff is very caring and treat my animals with such care that my dog will literally jumped out of the car and run to the door with great anticipation of seeing the staff. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. read more

On a friend's recommendation I took our pets (4 dogs and 3 cats) to Dr. Fontaine over 15 years ago and he has been taking excellent care of them ever since. He is wonderful and has pulled us through several difficult times - gastric torsion, hit by car, cancer and diabetes. He continually exceeds my expectations in his expertise and in his caring. Gave my toy dog injectable anesthesia and nearly killed her. Charged me an arm and a leg to do it too . . . When the vet called to tell me he couldn't go through with the procedure and had to take her out of the anesthesia because her heart was ready to stop, he said he thought she had some other health problem that caused it and wanted to run a bunch of other tests to determine what was wrong with her. This, after he ran the "pre-op" blood tests that I paid for dearly. He wanted to charge me another arm to do the extra tests that should have been included in the "pre-op" tests. He refused to tell me what he was looking for in the extra tests. NO thank you . . . I'll be going to a vet that doesn't use injectables on a dog under 20 lbs. and can answer simple questions. read more
