I've been to several but this is my favorite LGS in the Waynesville/Asheville area! Katmandu is a great community of players and the owner is super nice/helpful. I did an MTG draft here and it was a mix of experienced and new players. The best part was the friendly, helpful, and casual atmosphere. They also have other TCG (Pokemon, Lorcana, etc.), table top games (Warhammer, D&D, etc.), and a whole bunch of board games. Owner was very rude to a person with special needs that was in the store voicing his likes and dislikes other than gaming. I was with this special needs client at the time and we were told by the owner that he was trying to build a business for gaming not anything else. No reason to be rude and disrespectful because their views don't match yours. This person is also an avid gamer which the owner did not bother to find out. Rudeness toward other people can make or brake a business. Myself or my clients will never go inside this establishment again.!!!!! read more
