    I spent over $8,000 on furniture from Katy Furniture and also paid Katy Furniture directly for delivery. During delivery, the third-party movers they hired put a hole in the wall of my brand-new home. When I contacted the store about the damage, I was given the runaround and told to email customer service. I did so and received no response. I then went to the corporate office in Katy in person to get help. The office employee, Nuvia, told me that I was responsible for contacting the third-party delivery company--even though I did not hire them and was never given their information. She stated that Tim, the warehouse manager, hires the delivery crew, yet she could not provide his direct contact information, last name, or any way to reach him. She said he would be in at 1:00 p.m., which raises serious concerns about professionalism and internal accountability. When I asked for a manager, I was told that "Stephanie" (no last name provided) was the manager but would not be in that day. I was given no solution, no contact information, and no accountability--only instructions to contact a third party whose identity they refused or failed to provide. It is completely unacceptable for a company to collect payment for delivery, cause damage to a customer's home, and then refuse to take responsibility or even provide basic information needed to resolve the issue. The lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability is shocking. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend doing business here.

    Damage to wall

    The service is HORRIBLE. We had furniture delivered and they put a large hole in the wall. We reached out to the customer service. No response. We reached out to the store and we get either no information or told to wait until someone calls us. Its been two weeks no one calls or emails so we go back to the store. Nuvia had no information and did not know anyone she worked with last name. She was completely useless. There was apparently no manager and the manager Stephanie was not coming in. We paid Katy Furniture to deliver. After the damage Katy Furniture tells us we should get with the third party people who we had no contact with AND they wont tell us who the third part people were.

    I stumbled up in this furniture store as I was looking for a dining set for Thanksgiving. I was skeptical because of how empty and abandoned the store looks from outside but I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in & saw the variety and what seemed like quality furniture. The staff were helpful and not overbearing, which I appreciated. I wasn't happy that they didn't have any deliveries available until after Thanksgiving so we opted to pick up the dining set ourselves. I was pretty shocked to see the great prices, specifically compared to other furniture stores in the area (I did go check them out and the prices were higher) and wondered why more people don't talk about this furniture store more (not knowing what was to come). We purchased the dining set on Saturday and were told we could pick it up by Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. We were able to pick everything up on Wednesday morning. Everything came in boxes and my husband started putting everything together right away. He quickly noticed that two of the chairs had different pieces in the boxes. I immediately called the store before they closed at 4 pm. The lady who answered said I had to email customer service and that they would likely be closed until Friday. That's all she said. I emailed them with all the information and photos and only received an automated email response. On Friday morning, my husband went back to the warehouse to exchange the chairs and was told that we had to wait for an email from customer service before bringing the chairs back. I called the store again and was told that yes, I needed to wait for an email and that there was nothing the store could do. I forwarded my initial email again to the customer service email & again, I inly received an automated response. Today, two weeks after my purchase date, I went to the store to get some resolution and speak with a supervisor and the only person I was able to speak to was a lady behind the counter jn the back who also told me that the store could not anything and that I had to wait for an email from customer service and that they are closed on the weekend!!! I am very upset at this point because they have taken their money, they have a NO REFUNDS policy and there isn't anyone to help resolve issues AFTER you make a purchase. I can't just sit around & wait for an email when I'm missing TWO whole chairs that I have already paid for! Remember when I wondered why more people don't talk about this store and why it's so empty? Well, now I know why! I WILL NEVER buy from here again. I rather pay more & know that at least I can talk to someone who can at least try to help. This is NO better than ordering online from a company overseas! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

    The sales people are incompetent, and they want you to use their source of financing in order to get the deal they are advertising. They say they don't take a certain type of payment, but it gives you that particular option when online, which they then want you to pay an extra $165.00 After going to the first store which I was told that is where the sofa was, I had to drive all the way to the other store In Katy , sales people seem to have more important shit to do than wait on a paying customer. Business must be really good if they are losing a walk in cash deal! F Katy Furniture!

    Horrible! I purchased a bedroom set and the mattress didn't last one year. Mind you I am a one user on the mattress.

    Furniture is terrible quality. I called to complain about it, and then they hung up on me and blocked my number. NEVER BUY HERE!

A few days ago I purchased a large ceramic rabbit at this store to place in an assisted living. It cost 100 dollars. When I got home from the store, I picked the rabbit up by its head and the head broke off. I went back to the store and spoke with the store manager who told me her name was Debbie. I asked if they would replace the rabbit or at least give me a discount on a new one. Debbie told me "too bad so sad". She said there was nothing they could do to help me out. Debbie was so hostile and rude to me. I told Debbie that I have been a customer of At-Home for years and have spent a lot of money there. She told me "that's too bad." It's no wonder At-home had to file for bankruptcy last year when they have managers that are rude and not the least bit customer friendly. I still am shocked out how rude Debbie was to me.
