1 Star I am an Uber Eats driver, and I had a very disappointing experience delivering to the Rooms To Go location in Brookshire, Texas. The order was for an employee identified as Daniel S. While I was waiting at the restaurant, he repeatedly messaged me asking whether the food was ready, whether it had been cooked yet, and why the delivery was taking so long. Drivers do not control how long restaurants take to prepare food, and we cannot force an order to be completed faster. When I arrived at the facility, I was stopped by security. The security guard asked whether Daniel had provided delivery instructions. He had not. The guard informed me that I was not allowed to enter the property because Daniel was still working and instructed me to leave the order with security. I followed those instructions exactly. I documented the delivery and have evidence showing that the food was handed directly to the security guard. Despite that, the order was later reported as not received. No one contacted me after the delivery to ask where the food had been left or to help locate the order. Instead, a report was made claiming the order was not received after I had already followed the instructions given by the company's own security personnel. Management should pay closer attention to situations involving their employees. In my opinion, employees who create delivery disputes after a documented delivery do not reflect the honesty and trustworthiness that most businesses expect from the people representing them. Delivery drivers are out here working hard to earn a living. We should not have to deal with false delivery disputes after completing a delivery exactly as instructed. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about accepting deliveries to this location again. read more

We have a whole house full of Rooms to Go furniture. I had no issues before with the Pearland location. We purchased a dresser which I loved until it arrived and smelled so bad that I didn't want my clothes in it. I called to get another one and it was the same. It smelled like formaldehyde not lacquer as the customer care suggested. I called to get it taken back and even asked if we could have a floor model. Because we bought a floor model piece before. She said no they don't do that and no refund and there's nothing they could do. NO More RTG for us. read more

They kept on wanting to deliver who knows which lamps because I did not find lamps I wanted and ended up buying my lamps from Amazon. It took 8 calls to finally get a manager, and three calls with said manager for them to take the lamps gf my account and refund my credit account. I honestly have mixed feelings about this location. The wide range of selection and the overall size of this store is amazing. However the outlet part needs a little work. I do understand that some off the stuff is slightly damaged but still charging 800+ for a bed that has a half chipped headboard is a little outrageous and the sales employees in the outlets are nice but you can tell they have a quota to make. It's deceptively large. Venture west on I-10 to this Super Center -- stop at Bucees or In & Out Burger on the way for a bonus! When you pull up, you'll assume you'll be browsing and lost in a furniture wonderland for hours. It's not nearly a confusing jungle like IKEA. I knocked it about in 20 minutes. Gallery Furniture on Grand Parkway has a much larger selection of furniture. Salespeople were very low pressure. I was greeted by an affable gentleman who did not hover or follow me around. No other sales people attempted to "steal my business". The prices are clearly marked, and easy to understand, whether purchasing one piece or a set. There are some nice pieces. And the kids and teen area had some really fun options. There is a large closeout outlet warehouse floor that is worth a look. I took note of a chair and a bed that I was interested in. She was in high demand have several consumers, but still came back to answer questions, make suggestions. The bedroom set I wanted was not available, so ordering. Left with bed, 2 night stands and Tempur-Pedic mattress and frame ordered. So far so good. Returned for another mattress order and dining table. Carolina was great help on day 2. Do not go here!!! Unfortunately we came here because there was a sofa we really wanted. Melanie our sales person was just aggressive she just wanted to make a deal, your typical sales person. She told us that upon deliver they would take our old sofa and replace it with a new one we just purchased. At delivery the service was horrible, they scratched up our wooden floors and pretended not to hear us when we told them multiple times, you can obviously tell hated their job. When asked about taking my sofa the delivery guys stated it would be more money that we had to pay them. Obviously when I called to look for Melanie the sales rep she's nowhere to be found. I see why this place has such horrible reviews, cheap labor, cheap products, cheap service results in cheap customer experience. It's no wonder why you ever seen management respond to any of the bad reviews, they don't care about you or the customer experience, they already made money money off of you. We drove over an hour to get to the store only to find out we could not pick the couch up even though it was in stock. We were told that it was due to shutting the warehouse down for new orders because they were backed up due to the holidays. We talked to the manager and he said yes he would not be able to make an exception. I told him if we can't pick it up, they just lost a sale. his response to my comment was well, Have a nice day and walked off. I would not recommend or ever purchase anything from this company. Had a delivery on 02/22/25. Nestor, the delivery driver, showed up to our home angry, and in a rush. Didn't set up our bedroom carpet, and when we asked him to rearrange the media sofa he rolled his eyes and didn't want to rearrange it. We had to explain to him that we paid for delivery and the set up was not to our liking. He ended up rearranging it but did it with an attitude. He then walked out, without saying a word, and left. Horrendous delivery experience. Went to the store the following day to complain about the service and the mgr didn't do anything to resolve the poor treatment. Left negative feedback on the delivery survey and they didn't do anything to resolve the issue as well. So, for those that purchase and expect a friendly delivery experience, be prepared to argue with your delivery drivers. R2G don't even bother asking me to email anyone. Ive already spoken to a mgr, Paolos, and also the shipping company rep and neither were able to resolve our issue. After the transaction was complete we decided while there to visit the clearance showroom. We entered the showroom and it was there that we encountered Michelle Robinson, she was in the middle of completing a transaction on the computer when we approached her with a few inquiries. She immediately completed her task and provided assistance to us. We had inquired about pillows and She enthusiastically showed us the pillows we had inquired about. She asked questions regarding our comfort in sleeping and pointed out which pillows would best suit our needs. She provided information on the pillows. She politely excused herself to assist another customer while allowing us the time to form an opinion on what would be the best choice from the pillows that were available. After I had made my decision about which pillow I was going to purchase I then asked Michelle about office chairs. She took me to the location of the office chairs to evaluate and make my decision. During our conversation with Michelle the as we were going to pay for our purchases we passed the beds with the adjustable bed frames. She invited me to try out the bed to experience how the bed frame worked. Going into the showroom I had one thing in mind to buy - Pillows. I ended up with two pillows, a office chair and an adjustable bed frame. Now, what was is so special about this particular review is the experience and interaction we had with our sales person Michelle. Michelle is incredibly vivacious, her infectious personality keeps her customers engaged. She takes her ability to interact, communicate, and listen to the customer to further make the appropriate assessment of her customers needs. She is incredibly knowledgeable with the location and information of the furnishings to assist her customers. We witnessed while with her the incredible ability to be adaptive, she assisted everyone and managed to remain incredibly upbeat and calm under everything that she was presented with while most importantly making all of her customers feel acknowledged, important and taken care of . Rooms To Go Clearance is very fortunate to have such a outstanding employee work for them that knows their product, process and smoothly be able to take care of the company and the customer in a timely manner. We came here for their "as-is" section. This area of the venue is quite massive and includes all types of furniture from bedroom mattresses to home bar sets. We were in the market for a set of dining chairs and/or bench to go with out dark cherry wood dining table, which we found at this location years ago. We found a possible match and found from the worker that the chairs were older model chairs and they had more in stock. We hoped this would be the case for all their chairs they show cased in the non dining set area, but that wasn't so. In the end, the selection is great but we could not find a good match for our situation. The workers are ready to help out anyone at the store and will work with you. I ordered some couches from rooms to go two years ago. I was promised authentic leather couches that wouldn't depreciate in color or value but in less than a six months, the couch color has faded off and the leather is actually peeling. I tried to get in contact with rooms to go and even spoke to several representatives who gave me their names and callback contact number to resolve my issue. But my issues with rooms to go were never really resolved, and they just promised me that they'll send me a new couch which would also depreciate. One of the representatives (dayo), even told me that the leather was peeling off due to "wear and tear" . So then why would rooms to go sell fake unauthentic leather and lie to their customers ????. They even tried to send technicians to come fix furniture issues in my home only for the issue to still be prevalent. We purchased everything out of the warehouse. We paid 2600 for everything and they had the exact living room set in the show room for thousands more. Staff inside the store attentive and helpful. We were greeted within five min of entering the store. Made our purchase, a sectional and rug. The sales lady directs us to go over to the pick up area - they don't offer delivery at the outlet portion of the store. This is where the shopping experience goes downhill the porters they have working in the pickup area are beyond rude and unprofessional. They don't want to help and it shows. We sat in our truck as directed 15 min go by nothing I finally ask my husband maybe we need to go I back I inside. He gets out and speaks with one of the guys the guy with a attitude says you gotta show your paperwork inside... well why wouldn't the sales person say this!? I'm over it and wish I would've just went to another store. The prices are discounted but not worth the hassle of dealing with agitated unprofessional staff at the customer pick up. We purchased a sofa, chaise, 2 chairs, two pillows, mattress, and mattress cover. Our sales lady went over the warranty and raved about how great the coverage was. Since we purchased a very light colored living room set we did get the warranty being told it would cover stains. I made a stain claim before the holidays. A technician came out and cleaned it with a rag and Zep upholstery cleaner. He said he felt like they would return and at that point make another claim and they would need to recover it. He was correct and the areas reappeared. So after the Holidays I made a new claim another technician came out, he didn't do anything and said he needed to make a claim recommending they be recovered. Nearly a week later Rooms to Go called and said the claim was denied. I am having the warranty cancelled, it seems like they will find a way not to correct the issue so what's the point in having it. I would suggest getting your furniture somewhere else or don't bother with the warranty and know you're not protected. I am positive this is the last time we will be shopping Rooms to Go. read more

Headboard and footboard not the same size slats too short so no bed today!!! Now have to wait another week for the correct bed to be delivered. When I called customer service I got the "it's our policy", "We only deliver in your area on Thursdays." "We can only...". So the morale to the story - hang on with both hands, read the fine print, check return policies, check descriptions because you'll be a poor service "our policy" victim if you get something defective, need service or need to return something good luck. This place is a gigantic Charlie Foxtrot. It's gigantic and organized by toddlers, it seems. Was shopping for a new dresser and decided to drive to the outlet for the off chance I'd get a deal. I did get a deal, but I'm willing to pay more next time to never set foot in this store again. The dresser was a damaged, slightly, and in their outlet in the back. It's first come first serve so when you find something you have to guard it like a hawk and hope an employee walks by. I observed just one employee in the entire outlet area. I appreciate he was busy, but the company is screwing him over. After I got his attention he helped me snag it. So I get the write up and walk to the register to pay. They tell me it'll be about 30 minutes to pick up the items since it was Saturday. No big deal. I drive to the loading dock and walk in. Here's the next cluster. It's a jungle here. 30 people with drying for 10. I am waiting in line when a lady cuts around and the person behind the counter still saw her first. Pet peeve. So after an hour and 10 minutes from check in and ask what's up. At that moment a lady walks in and raises a huge stink that's she's been waiting 20 minutes and blah blah. They took her pick list and pushed it to the front. Oh hell no. I spoke to the floor manager and informed him of my aforementioned wait time and he seemed to care but I think it was for show. So this chick gets her shit pulled to the front and she leaves. We finally get a bay spot. Back in and we wait another 30 minutes between seeing my items come out. If you're keeping track, that's almost 1.5 hours past the promised time. I'd like to say I remained a perfect gentleman and waited patiently. However I went into tough talking paul mode, and flipped out. Only after my meltdown did they load my stuff for me. This is a long one......I bought a floor model living room set recently. Since it's a floor model this is sold "as is", knowing that i inspected the condition of the set for damage and stains, even pulling the sectional apart and checking the legs of everything. As i saw none (some items still had tags, like the swivel chair and throw pillows). So i decided to go thru with the purchase and my floor sales person, David, was excellent even letting me know that the swivel chair was recently put with the set (1 star for him). This is where my shopping experience goes quickly downhill, I am informed that i have to choose a third party to deliver my purchase and i go with a reputable service 5-stars, 400+ reviews (on google). The swivel chair arrives scratched, to which the movers inform me that they received it like that from rooms to go (RTG) and that they had the pieces stacked up and with no wrapping to protect anything. The insides of the sectional look like they were pushed along the floor because there was grass and dirt all over it. I can clean the sectional but i cannot fix the swivel chair. I tried three times to resolve the scratched chair with rooms to go with the General Manager Cecile Smith, to which i am told that all of the sign off documentation/pictures are "proprietary" and because i hired a third party to deliver my furniture that they assume responsibility for how my furniture is picked up. But how can they do that? They did not purchase my furniture and i was not informed of needing to sign off on the condition of the furniture prior to it being loaded up. She was absolutely not interested in helping and provided nothing to defend that RTG was not at fault. If you had "pictures" then why not show me. Long story short, buyer beware. If you purchase a floor model "as-is", it will not be given to you "as-is" the way you purchased it. It will be "as-is" however RTG wants to give it to you. The managers there do not care, I had to physically go up there after not receiving a call back. I work hard for my money and i am not very keen on someone else determining what they think i deserve for my money. After spending two hours in this establishment and waiting over an hour to make a purchase, the manager, KAT, advised the table we were attempting to purchase was an unscannable sku. There was a similar table to the one we were attempting to purchase, which was easily sold to another couple, who were of a different race. KAT did no offer any alternatives and advised the table would be sent back to the manufacturer, being that it was unsellable. She was unable to advise the reason an unsellable item would be placed on the floor for sale. I viewed this exact item on the floor approximately three weeks ago. At that time the item was marked for sale at $288. Today, the item had been marked down at least two more times and was now marked for sale at $58 (now unsellable). Another member of the store advised that the table would be placed in the trash. This is simple ludacris that an item in the store, on the floor, is displayed, but unable to be purchased. It is also a waste of time for the consumer. I would choose zero stars if possible, but due to the great customer service by Michelle, 1 star suffices at this time. Okay, guys. Let me share some information on this company. I have shopped here several times for years, so I know how things work. Many of the one-star reviews on here shouldn't be. For starters, this is a DISTRIBUTION CENTER. It clearly says that on the side or front. I don't remember exactly, but remember seeing it each time I come for stuff. People who keep saying something about renting trailers or UHAULS expecting to get stuff the same day should be banned from going outside. Who shells out money on something like that without knowing how distribution centers work? IT'S NOT A WAREHOUSE. It's not same-day pick up unless it's from the outlet. Otherwise, you have to schedule a pick up days out because guess what.... this distribution center services over 10 stores around the area, so things are constantly moving in and out. If something is in stock, it's not that easy to just pick it up the same day. Why? Well, because the people who are already there to pick up have already scheduled their pick ups just like you're supposed to. The distribution center is huge and it's very, very organized. Just because your rep tells you you can't pick up your little end table the same day, don't throw a fit. It takes time and machinery to pull each item that's purchased and things are scheduled. Read again.. SCHEDULED. So when you get frustrated, remember that you can't get it same day not because the business isn't organized, but rather the complete opposite. Everything has to be scheduled. Now, let's discuss delivery. An item may be in stock, but that has nothing to do with the delivery calendar. Deliveries are scheduled by zones and are based on your area code. You may find something that's in stock, but thank your neighbors for scheduling the deliveries ahead of yours. That's why you have to wait. You know...other customers. It's nothing to do with rooms to go being incompetent. Also, express delivery has no set time for delivery and they don't call ahead. They just show up whenever between 7 am and 10 pm. You basically have to stay home all day. With express delivery, you're pretty much getting your order added to a truck that's already full. Hooray for that, BUT because all of those orders are already scheduled for a particular window, yours will be delivered whenever. They're pretty much doing an extra service for you for the same price as regular delivery. Life happens with deliveries. Sometimes people want things moved around in their living rooms/bedrooms/dining rooms. Sometimes people aren't at home at their scheduled window and the drivers have to wait up to 15 minutes for Thelma to come home because she decided she needed to get eggs for the cake she just had to bake. Well, sorry...thank the people like that for not knowing exactly when your stuff will show up. Life happens. Wait times for pick up are clearly mentioned on the receipt and online. Anyone who just happens to sign for furniture and TAKE HOME THE RECEIPT WITH ALL OF THE INFORMATION HE/SHE ENDS UP COMPLAINING ABOUT doesn't need to make major purchases. Obviously you sign agreements without paying attention. I normally like to make purchases from the outlet because I'm thrifty and like to find discounted items and fix them up. My last purchase was an entertainment center that I restored and saved around 200 bucks on. All of the reps were friendly. I also bought a rug for my living room from the adult showroom and am in love with it. My sales rep checked on me often, but didn't hover. I had to wait around 3 weeks to pick it up, but no biggie. It was worth the wait. This place is awesome and has good deals and great reps. When you understand the way things work, it makes things much easier. read more

I purchased a Purple mattress and when asked if I was able to return if I wasn't happy with the mattress the sales lady told me I had 30 days and they would be happy to exchange it. She did not say the mattress would have to be the same cost in order to exchange it with no refunds or store credit. The mattress has me in pain. I even went back to the store a week later to make sure she had sent me the right one as the floor model was Super soft and the one I had is rock hard. I was sent away saying it would soften up but 2 weeks later and I'm still suffering. Had I known their lack of return policy I would've never bought from this place. They have products on the floor to sell , they Advise at time of interest there will be a delay due to the pandemic (understood ) Salesman promise for up to date delivery status, done however My mom ordered her furniture in July told it would be there in August and September with the last two pieces to be delivered tomorrow sept 29. This shipment was confirmed at 9:43 am yesterday morning with a call tonight at 6:30pm, less than 12 hours before it was to be is her home all to be told that again they don't have the furniture to deliver and now it will be October 15th My opinion, if you can't deliver what you are selling then it needs to be removed from the showroom. Worst experience in doing business I've ever experienced. Spent thousands and we have a baby on the way. Canceled / restructured our order 4-5 times and spent hours on phone. Delivered broken material and forced me to sign for it or everything delivered would be loaded back on their truck. Mattress delayed twice and headboard will arrive 3 months late. WHERE DO I GET STARTED?!? First, I will say that the workers in the store (despite the constant hover like buzzards over raw meat), were friendly while we completed our shopping. However, this isn't what this post is about. We ordered our furniture for the day we made our move into the apartment. I had no idea that the delivery could be scheduled for as early as 7am (I was under the notion it would be 9am earliest), in which we received our keys. Missed our scheduled delivery that we found out was at 7am on a Friday, and was informed by many agents that the delivery drivers could swing by later in their deliveries since we lived so close to the distribution center. After many calls to ensure that this would happen, and ensured every time that the manager would call us with further information, we received no call/info. Our last call revealed that the delivery people had completed their deliveries 2 hours previous, and of course with no call. We were then informed that we had to wait 48 hours for our order to be unlocked in order to even schedule another delivery. Nobody at the call center or store knew any further information, and despite all of the many calls, EVERY single manager stated there was absolutely nothing that could be done outside of waiting the 48 hours. Assured Monday morning, we could reschedule, Monday morning rolls around...account is not unlocked. Monday night comes around, order is FINALLY unlocked however the next available delivery time is THE FOLLOWING THURSDAY. An entire two weeks after our original delivery date. All with the response of nothing further could be done. So here we are without a couch, dining room table or rug for two weeks with absolutely nothing they can do (out of their hands supposedly) and no accommodations for an earlier delivery time. -The workers including the managers are EXTREMELY rude and even the workers even at points refused to transfer me to another worker or manager. -Nobody whether at the store or call center give two craps about your issues, and no nothing about their own policies. -I find this entire 48hour lock out period, and the fact that not even a manager could override it to even allow a new delivery date OBSURD. -The only way they claim to be able to communicate with delivery drivers is through email. RIDICULOUS!! OVER-ALL: I have absolutely hated this experience, and after this delivery I will NEVER order another ROOMS-TO-GO product again. Let's at least hope the order is correct when it arrives! Ask for Dr. Phil, he is a very good salesman , no pressure, doesn't mind to show you many choices and you can take your time deciding. we ended up needing to swap out the matress for another one, it took a replacement on the first matress and then after it was still not firm enough they let us choose a new matress. we first tried a coil matress, then ended up with a iComfort foam matress and are very happy, the staff and customer service is the best. read more

Don't deal with Santos. Recently went into the store to purchase a sofa, we tested a set on the floor and decided to purchase it. It was a power reclining sofa and a stationary loveseat. It is delivered a few days later and it was a manual reclining sofa. Called the store to inform them of the mistake and Santos was incredibly rude and condescending. He did not inform me during purchasing that I was not getting the power sofa. He did not offer an "ugrade" of a power option that was an additional $200! We were under the impression that we were getting the couch that he was selling us on the floor. I could have accepted the manual couch but his response and reaction to the problem was unacceptable. read more
