Went today for the first time. The menu is extremely hard to read on the tv screens way high up on…read morethe wall. Workers did not seem like they wanted to discuss menu items. Was just told look at the last screen it's on that one the Dubai chocolate ice cream sundae which I could not find but anyway I ordered and come to find out it's $25. I also ordered three chocolate covered cake fruit dessert desserts $42 and one scoop of ice cream. My bill was $77. Absolutely insane prices!!!! my Dubai chocolate sundae was nothing to rave about barely any chocolate, and the ice cream was very bland. They do have a bunch of cool items, but I won't be coming out again because of the high prices and flavor was not blowing me away for a $25 Ice cream with one squirt of chocolate.

The prices are extremely high, but it's nothing amazing or out of the world you're trying... I wish there was a little bit more authentic or something that took them apart. I haven't been a big fan of a service either as every time or twice that I've gone. I feel like the girls inside her a little not nice... overall the ambience of the location is very beautiful. I love the way they decorate in general. I wish this place could use a little bit more improvement.. food: 6/10 service: 4/10 ambiance 10/10 bang for your buck: 3/10

I always judge a Thai restaurant on Panang Curry. The flavors were decent but I was taken aback by…read morethe huge green bell peppers and them being the only vegetable. There was very little curry sauce so serve over rice. The basil fried rice didn't taste like anything resembling Basil fried anything. The vegetables (just onion and peppers) in there were huge as well. It was more bad Chinese than Thai. I'm not running back for the Pad Thai either. Not bad but not oh so delicious I would drive 30 minutes to get it.

Since moving back to Michigan in 2022, I hadn't had Thai food--until now. While living in NYC, I…read moreused to frequent a small, amazing Thai restaurant near my place once a week. So, when I was scrolling through DoorDash, I thought, "Why not give Thai Tanic a try?" And let me tell you--I do not regret it! The food instantly reminded me of that cozy Thai spot on East 26th Street in New York. Thai Tanic is now officially my go-to Thai restaurant. I ordered takeout, but I couldn't help but notice how cute the restaurant's interior was, with its tropical greenery decor. The staff was also incredibly friendly. I placed my order ahead of time, and the estimated wait was spot-on--no extra delays. I love a good Tom Yum soup, and this one did not disappoint. It had the perfect balance of acidity, wasn't overly spicy, and featured fresh vegetables. For dinner, I went with the Combination Meal (available only online) with Pork Fried Rice. The sides included Garlic Delight Tofu and Masaman Potato Curry with Mixed Veggies. Each dish was packed with flavor! The Fried Rice wasn't greasy or overly buttery--just rich in taste. The Masaman Potato Curry was my absolute favorite; the coconut milk and curry consistency were spot-on, with no single ingredient overpowering the others. I'll definitely be ordering from Thai Tanic again and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. You won't regret it! Next time, I'm getting the Masaman Potato Curry with a side of white rice--no question about it!
