I met Barbara at her clinic. She worked on my entire body for one hour and I could litterally feel the pain leaving my knees. She applied pressure on many parts of my body, as if she was following a path. The pain in my knees disappeared for a month. After that I decided to make it a regular appointment for me every other week. With time I noticed that my health is getting generally better: not only the ache is gone, I also feel less stressed. The treatment is comfortable, you just need to wear a tracksuite and a shirt. I went to the first treatment wearing a hoodie with a zipper and that was a mistake, since Barbara needs to apply pressure on your body and zippers and buttons don't help you. I trusted her and thought she has a process and saving the best for last. Clearly she can not do a sports or deep tissue massage. It was just a normal Thai massage. She only wanted to specifically avoid the area I need focus on in the hope I will come back for another round, which would be stupid. I have been looking for a good local masseur for over a year as I sit working at my computer all…read moreday and find that I get very tense. I was recommended to Lin's Thai Massage by a neighbour. Myself and my boyfriend went yesterday for massages and we both felt that these were the best massages we had ever had (we are both in our late 50's!) We both had slightly different treatments as he has problems with his feet and neck and I have problems with my shoulders and back. Lin and Nii both used hot oils and warm towels and kneaded with their hands and arms to get to the problem areas. They both identified where we needed treatment and worked on the relevant areas. My massage was uncomfortable as my muscles were so tense but Lin assured me that things would feel better the day after. We paid 30 each for an hour's massage. We were both so relaxed when we came out that we fell asleep when we got home and today I was much more mobile than normal - my neck and back have felt a lot more supple. For anyone wanting to relax or relieve tense muscles I would whole heartedly recommend Lin and her masseurs - they are very genuine and professional.
