The man working there was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out a suitable cigar. As I said I'm not a cigar smoker so I was quite nervous about how strong the smoke smell would be. It's not terrible. The space does seem to have a decent filtration system so it is manageable. In lieu of cigars, I had drinks. The drinks were good. FYI, there is a $25 minimum per person at the bar. The server was very nice and recommended some drinks to me but service is incredibly slow. I mean you place a drink order and it may not come for 10-15 minutes. The space is nice and comfy. Large, lounge chairs and loveseats throughout.

I first visited Belvedere in fall 2020, I purchased a cigar and then took a seat in the lounge a little further away from where some were smoking and chatting. Within a few minutes of me sitting down, I heard some ask if I wanted anything to drink, they would gladly share, I declined but thanked them. A couple of more times during my stay a few people checked on me to make sure I was ok and to ask if I needed anything. I joined the lounge in 2021, it was one of the best decisions made since moving to South Jersey in 2020. I have had the opportunity to smoke some great cigars, attend some nice events hosted by the lounge, and meet some wonderful people. It is more than a lounge, it is the Cheers of the South Jersey cigar world, you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the doors; you feel like family. While I often purchase most of my tinned tobacco and pipes online (Main Street still does not carry many of my favorite pipe tobacco blends like the Frog Morton series of blends, at least not as I write this review), their prices are actually quite reasonable - when you add online shopping and handling charges, you're often paying the same or even a dollar or two more for a tin or so of tobacco as you would pay buying directly at Main Street Cigar and Pipe Co.! I love to shop online like many people do, but I'm also pretty passionate about supporting my local Brick and Mortar tobacco stores as we call them.
