We had a great time kayaking at Nehalem Bay State Park! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, the kayaks and gear were clean and well maintained, and the setting was gorgeous. Looking forward to going on some of their other tours.

In the harbor near the end of our trip

Thoroughly enjoyed our kayak tour of Garibaldi and Three Graces. Josh, our guide, was awesome - very knowledgable, thoughtful and patient. The tour was everything advertised - a nice kayak trip through the harbor passing through the Coast Guard Station, several piers and our to Three Graces rock formations where were full of sea life - sea anemone, star fish, jelly fish, and a wide variety of gulls, pelicans and other birds. Josh added his own personal stories to each part of the kayak trip and was interesting to talk with in general. The trip was 2 hours as described. Super fun and enjoyable, and would definitely recommend to others.

Netarts Bay on a cloudy day!

We have gone on perhaps 7 trips with Kayak Tillamook. Our latest was on Netarts Bay. The guides are always helpful and help us learn new things about the sights and critters we are seeing. One of my favorite things about KT is that the website describes the trips and their difficulty level. Netarts Bay is an easy one, but really beautiful and serene. Miami Cove and River involved pretty exciting paddling through the waves of Garibaldi Bay. The team is good at timing the trips to take advantage of tides and avoid having to fight the tides. We really trust them to both keep us safe and show us a great time.

Prepping to leave the Port of Garibaldi for a tour.

My son went on the Garibaldi Bay & Harbor kayak tour as part of his Boy Scout summer camp outbound program, last week. He had a great time. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The equipment was in excellent condition. All safety measures were in effect. I thought quite highly of the entire outfit.

Had a great day out with Josh on the Nehalem bay. Josh is super knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife and the water. We had a great paddle, learned a ton and saw harbor seals and several bird species. Thanks, Josh!

They finally credited our account, so we are good with the company. They said the guide was new to the company and is no longer with them.

I have taken four trips with Kayak Tillamook - three by kayak, one by standup paddle board. All were wonderful. I highly recommend them!

But from the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel so comfortable and welcome that those nerves disappeared immediately. Our guide, Peter, was absolutely amazing. He was extremely thorough with safety instructions and made sure everyone felt safe and confident throughout the trip, while still keeping everything fun and exciting. He had such a great way with people and really helped make the experience memorable. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even the owner took the time to be kind and personable, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about giving people a great experience. This trip made me want to come back before it was even over, and I'll definitely be returning this summer to hopefully try one of the more challenging rafting trips. Thank you all so much for giving me such a fun and unforgettable Mother's Day!

Don't skip the video or the opportunity to view the exhibits in the museum, there is much to learn about these amazing creatures. Depoe Bay is blessed with a plentiful food source, and a protective environment for grey whales. I've lived in the Pacific Northwest most of my life and have taken for granted just how accessible whales really are in this region. During peak migration months it's possible to view the whales right from your car as you're driving down Highway 101! From the moment we booked our $55 tickets for a six-person, 90-minute whale watching tour along the coast, everyone at Eco Excursions made us feel welcome. It's evident these folks really love what they do, because everything just fell into place. Booking tickets was easy, checking in was a breeze, any concerns about locating and boarding the boat were taken care of. Our guide was friendly and informative, and really went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant experience. There's something so magical about viewing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Experiencing whale breath, viewing them so closely you can count the barnacles attached to them, and repeatedly seeing them surface and fluke... nothing compares! It's difficult to explain the pure joy I felt out on the water with a team who clearly bring their A-game to work every day! Thank you so much, Whale Research Eco Excursions - your tour ranks very highly in the list of my most treasured life experiences.
