They offer something for every skill level or however strong your sense of adventure is. Zip line, tree canopy obstacle courses and a whole ton of fun. On Saturday our dance academy took the students here for a team-building activity. They provided about an hour of typical team-building games & activities. It was good - not exceptional, but certainly adequate. The adult staff member was good at this, and the adolescent staff were ok, as one might expect. The real magic came after the lunch break, when the adult staff member demonstrated how to work with the harnesses, and we were released to the self-guided Aerial Adventure courses. The equipment is very well-maintained, simple, reliable, and easy to use. Even the youngest kids were able to work with it pretty easily. The Aerial Adventure area is amazing! The different courses are clearly labeled with a Color system, difficulty, and Fear Factor. The more challenging & scary courses require a certain age, or completion of prior courses. The courses are well built and very well-maintained, and easy to figure out. The entire experience was excellent, and the kids enjoyed it immensely. I did, as well. The cost seems very on-par with the value offered - I had expected higher prices, frankly. I would highly recommend the Aerial Adventure Park to anyone who is at least mildly athletic! read more

Super fun morning with our Girl Scout troop! The girls all did well on the Aerial Obstacle course. I loved how there were 6 courses all different colors which made it easy for the girls to progressively move up and get comfortable with how high and challenging the course was. All girls (aged 12-14) did the first 5 levels and only a few did the most challenging black course. We stayed 3 hours and even though on the pricey side everyone agreed it was worth the money for what you got. It was raining but they kept the course open the whole time. read more

Family spent almost 3.5 hours here because it was so fun. Staff was great. The obstacles were a bit easy after you get the hang of clipping in and out, except what they consider the hardest level was a bit of a nail biter in a thrilling way. Kids age 9 and 12 lived it and had no problems. We felt safe enough that after a while we let them go out on their own, which they loved. The forest setting was magical. Quiet. Not crowded. Went on a Monday 11 am. What would have made it 5 stars: if there was actual food, even just boxed sandwiches and if there were an additional mid-level obstacle. Also Paying extra for the zip racing isn't worthwhile because it's just one zip line, boring. Better if there were a few to go on. Don't bother. read more

Our kids age 10 & 14 absolutely loved this place, it was their favorite thing on our trip to Oregon. It's $55 for the Aerial Adventure, which includes 6 obstacle courses, from easy to hard & you get 3 hours to complete it. We got a Groupon for $70 which included all the add-ons. The add-on activities were only ok, so I would save your money & just do the Aerial Adventure. This is a great place for kids & adults. My 10 year old daughter did the first 5 courses more than once (minus the hardest course-black) & my 14 son did all 6 of them. This place did a great job making the courses fun yet challenging. Their favorite was the many zip lines throughout the courses. You need to book a time slot online ahead of time. I would recommend going early at the beginning of the day or towards the end of the day so it's less crowded. We went on a Sunday at 2p & it was crowded. If the people in front of you were slower, you'd have to wait a lot. For exp, with crowds, it took our kids an hour to complete 2 obstacles. Such an amazing way to spend an afternoon! My girlfriend and I were visiting Portland and wanted to seek out an outdoor adventure. Tree to Tree Adventure Park did not disappoint at all. The drive from downtown Portland was about one hour and might I add -- a very scenic drive too! When you arrive to the grounds, there are plenty of spaces for parking. Tickets are purchased online and you can check in at the Welcome Center right past the restrooms. One of the facilitators will guide the groups (all by time slots and ours was 1:30 - 4:30) through all the safety guidelines and provide a crash course on how to use their equipment. Once you are oriented, you can do a "test run" on one of the easier courses so that you become comfortable and acquainted with using the gear. There were plenty of courses guests can work through -- all color coded and labeled by difficulty level. The obstacle courses were put together very thoughtfully and forces you to use almost every muscle on your body to navigate through them. Adrenaline rush, workout, quick thinking, endurance, stamina, strength -- you get a dosage of everything. Would highly recommend to anyone. Super cool and so much fun! read more

Although perhaps on the pricey-er side, This is still an incredible way to spend a day with the family. Covid restrictions are hard, as there is no real way to wipe down the equipment in between people; however they are trying their best by enforcing masks while in close proximity and restricting 2 people per platform. The staff do a great job ensuring your safety and the tutorial is certainly helpful to get acquainted to the equipment if you've never been before. With up to 4 different levels, the park has a course for everyone. If you've never been before, I would recommend working your way up the levels as the last course can be pretty challenging. read more

I'm a huge scaredy-cat. So when we were planning a girls trip to Portland, I surprised even myself with this suggestion. As our trip neared and we started solidifying plans, my friends kept strategizing how we could fit T2T in our short trip. I said, "eh, let's just forget it. It's too far from Portland! We don't have enough time!" My poo-pooing got me nowhere and before I knew it, we were booked! My friend and I went with the traditional combo package: combined zip tour and aerial obstacle course ($120), the other two more "daredevils" of the bunch booked the all adventure park pass: aerial obstacle course, zip line tour, monkey grove, tree top plunge and racing zip lines ($149). After gearing up and a quick tutorial, we were ready to go. I thought I did a pretty good job keeping my composure, and had a blast! Not once did I feel unsafe, even though this was the first time I was solely responsible for securing my carabiners on zip lines. The two that opted for the tree top plunge had a semi freak out session at the top, but once they committed to the jump and it was all said and done, thought it was fun. Worth the trip outside of Portland to enjoy some lush greenery with a bird's- eye view. read more

It was a sunny day in Gaston to get our thrills at Tree to Tree Adventure! I found out about this Oregon spot by casually watching Travel Channel & had to book mark this- way before we even knew Oregon was gonna be one of our vacation destinations this year! I always have some type of exciting adventure planned during our travels. This trip it was either white water rafting or Tree to Tree. I make sure hubby is included in the decision process & this is where he picked. Easy enough! Our visit to Oregon was initially planned for July- but, we had to delay this trip to September. So, I initially called to book our July dates & called again to reschedule for September. There was no issue to reschedule. No inconvenience fees & I was told- if I needed to cancel- there would be no issue either! Our adventure was set for 12pm today. We were told by T2T staff that there is filming taking place at the very moment. I actually met w/ the IMAX filming crew (all the way from Los Angeles). The IMAX movie is about American gems in the wilderness. Trailblazers.... not saying that's the official name. But, should be released next year sometime. So, while the filming crew were getting their shots on parts of the aerial obstacle course- Mike was our guide to teach us how the carabiners worked. How we need to lock/ unlock them w/ the red gadget (forgot the name), and when to engage the trolley mechanism to the zip line. When the film crew was finished in the aerial course- hubby & I moved along while Mike helped instruct a group of 12. I'm used to zip lining- as I've done it in Big Bear & Catalina Island, CA and Las Vegas. But those locations- you have staff at both ends of each run- assisting you. Here- you are engaging all mechanisms yourself! Some of the zip lines on the aerial obstacle course end at a Tree platform & others on soft dirt/ gravel-- this is where I felt like my short legs weren't in tune with the zip line speed. I dragged my back on the ground a few feet! I thought it was hilarious! There is one obstacle on the purple course- you use black rope to pull the platform towards you. Which I did- (I was connected w/ my carabiners) stood on the traveling platform, but, grabbed the red cable which made the mobile platform slip from my feet & there I am dangling! I shrieked & laughed. Had to wait for hubby to catch up w/ me to get the mobile platform towards me. Mike the guide (and hubby) teased me!! LOL Hubby only does these adventures because he knows it'll make me happy. But, I know he'll only tolerate so much when it comes to heights. Each aerial obstacle course is geared towards Fear Factors/ height. We did enjoy green, blue, & purple. I really wanted to do emerald & red. But, since we were a bit on a time limit to meet w/ family after T2T- we headed to the racing zip lines to end our day here. Lockers are available 50 cents for every time you open the locker door. This is private property you're on also. There are temporary porta potties- I think permanent restrooms are being constructed. The gift shop has light snacks- water, soda, chips, ice cream. Worth every penny and the drive. The worst thing I can say about the whole day is there was a little confusion in the beginning about orientation but they are So Friendly and everyone wants to help that it was just another opportunity to engage the employees in cheerful banter. We did the obstacle course and I can tell you I was happily exhausted at the end and never made it to the highest level. I'm a little out of shape after an injury last December and still made it through nearly all of the self guided awesome obstacles. There were kids and adults of all ages and I'm looking forward to bringing my own spawns. It is a safe course if you follow simple directions, well maintained and there is plenty of help around if anything goes wrong. At peak heat we were still in shade under the canopy and never felt over crowded. There are other options besides the obstacle course like a zipline tour and stuff for the very small style of children, and they all look fun. I am sore in a great way. Skilled friendly guides and trainers help make your experience enjoyable. Take them seriously when they say you will be asked to come down if you violate safety guidelines. Go alone, with family or big groups! All are welcome. Plan to spend the day and pack a lunch. It's gorgeous there and it's located right by Hagg Lake/Scoggins Dam which provides beautiful lake front picnicking opportunities after your adventures among the fir trees. This place is great for pretty much all ages (except for tiny babies and anyone else not physically up to it). We had got here a little too late for the zip lining tour (try and reserve ahead!) so we did the tree to tree adventure part which included zip lining as well which was great!! The obstacle course is definitely a work out and for me personally there was one scary part between two platforms (due to a height fear and my legs being too short) but it was manageable, just took me a few minutes to build the courage to cross! Yay! The most fun I've had on a birthday... ever! I wanted something fun and different to do for my 65th birthday and this was definitely it. My first time ever zip-lining! I was impressed by the care with which the two guides took to make sure everyone in our little group of zip-liners had fun and stayed safe. Cliff and Tyler were awesome and obviously love their jobs. The aerial adventure has 6 different courses with differing levels of difficulty. Our day was absolutely made by our guide Miguel who kept our safety instructions informative but still fun. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys laughing (whether it be laughing at your friends attempting obstacles or laughing in disbelief that you are about to attempt an obstacle concocted by some serious adrenaline junkies). I have SO much more appreciation for those contestants on the American Ninja Warriors show after this experience! Walking on planks and wires held by nothing but trees is harder than it looks. Those athletes on TV made it look easy peasy. Tree to Tree is a great controlled way to immerse yourself outdoors with your friends and loved ones. It's located in Gaston on the way toward Hagg Lake, which makes for some easy planning if you want to make a day out of it. We were able to get a combined Adventure Package on Groupon, which was basically the 6 aerial obstacle courses ($49) and 5 zipline canopy tour ($75/person) for a total of $69. Well worth it. They also have rates for kiddos under 10yrs of age, so check with them if that applies for you. You can tell safety is the #1 rule embedded into the staff at all times. All participants get training on how to properly latch and release carabiners. They also have an emergency kit that pulls people down from the course (one of my friends ended up needing this on the black course...more on that later). Everyone starts on the easy course to get trained on how to use the equipment and zip lines. Then you can choose between the 4 other courses, each with increasing difficulty. Here were my thoughts: Training Course - Whoa, this is cool Emerald & Green - Low on the ground and super easy, gaining confidence... Purple & Blue - A bit higher and more challenging, but very doable! Red - Some tricky stuff in there, but we made it Black - Oh @#$#!. Plz don't look down... oh sh*t Pro tip: Don't save the black course for last. It's the most physically demanding and the degree of difficulty is much higher than the red course. You'll want to have some strength to make it up the initial cargo net and the mental fortitude to walk on those wobbly wires. One of my friends was stuck on the initial cargo net since she ran out of upper body strength. We've been climbing for 4 hours previously, which took its toll on our energy levels. Luckily, the staff responded promptly and managed to get her down safely with the help of some equipment placed on each course. The zip lines were fun, but felt very short. I actually had more fun on the treetop courses! If possible, I'd recommend bringing (or renting) a GoPro to film all the action. The laughs later on are worth every penny! P.S. Fantastic! Great fun for kids over 7! My daughter's been here twice, and each time she came away with a huge confidence boost and had tons of fun. I will add 2 things that any parent should know: The adventure village and ninja course are fun for younger siblings, but it was still difficult to manage our 5 year old because she always felt a little left out. Best to just leave the younger ones at home. And for kids right at the edge of the 60" reach limit, a parent's help to clip and unclip the harnesses might be needed, especially as they get used to the systems (plan to go through the course together). read more

This place...was awesome! I am terrified of heights and am not the most agile of people. But after losing a significant amount of weight, I became determined to do all those things that terrified and dissuaded me. Heights and physical agility courses being the foremost on that list. So I went here with a friend to see how far I could go. And, it turns out, pretty darn far! The staff were very helpful in doing this. The guides are all young men and women, but there's an incredible lack of fooling around in them. They are confident and supportive of everyone that is there, pushing people to go to their limits and beyond. They really seem to try to get everyone up there to push themselves, but they never cut corners. The training period is on small platforms on the ground and gives you a sense of confidence in how the harnesses will hold you up. Then you're on your own. There are fewer ziplines here and more aerial obstacle courses. There are four: Green, Blue, Red, and Black Diamond. All of them get progressively more difficult. The courses are essentially variations of rope and log bridges, in different configurations and without a different amount of hand-held supports offered. The higher the difficulty, the less likely there is to be a hand-held guide rope. Once you're on the tree platforms, the only way to get down is to finish the course. I imagine the guides have ladders or something to get up there and get you down if you absolutely freeze up, but they're more likely to help you get going and achieve success on your own. At no time did I feel like I would be totally lost and abandoned while in the trees. I did not do the black diamond course, as my body became quite sore from the amount of pulling and climbing I was doing. This is not a leisurely day trip of being carried along; you are going to be physically active. But it's a great feeling to get over an obstacle that you could swear would never be surmounted. I love this place and intend to go back. I've encouraged everyone I know to go and try it out, and the more they claim a fear of heights, the more I tell them they have to go. The harnesses are super-secure and, having fallen more than once and hung dangling from my harness without any other repercussions, the more I trusted myself to leap from log to log without worrying about falling. I did progressively better as I got further into the course, thanks to those experiences. This also makes for an amazing date place for the not-so-traditional date, when dinner and a movie just gets too boring. read more

Wow. That was fun. Really impressed with what they've got going on here. I don't know that I would allow kids under the age of 10-12 just because learning how the safety system works is a lot to take in for a little brain. Might be frustrating for them and less fun. As an adult though, this was a blast and I'll be going again! The staff here are very friendly and very helpful. They have food and water on site for purchase which is nice! I had my hydration pack on...I would highly recommend wearing a camelback as it's a workout at times and it was great having access to water while up in the trees. The safety system they have in place is vertically foolproof, very well though out. It's literally impossible to fall, you are forced to always be clipped it while up in the air. Pretty cool! What a fun day this was! My boyfriend and I had a blast climbing through the obstacles. To start: they take you through a training course and fit you with helmets. Get you thoroughly aquatinted with the ropes and carabiner. They make sure to stress the importance of always checking the carabiners so I appreciate how they take safety seriously. The staff is well trained. During: the groups split up and start through the lower levels to get used to the obstacles. There are all arts but clearly the lower obstacles are easier to navigate and each course gets higher and a bit harder. Some were easy for me and some not so much but despite my fear of heights, I made it all the way through until half way through the black course (the hardest and highest). Had a slight panic attack on the last obstacle so if you are ready to be done, don't push yourself too hard. It's OK not to finish because that last course is TOUGH. Thankfully there was a zip line half way through the course so once I made it through that obstacle I threw in the towel and zipped to the ground. Easy enough. The obstacles are well built and sturdy. Clearly thought out so no chance of them breaking apart. Just follow the guides instructions on timing. My boyfriend and I raced on the long zip line since they are side by side. That was fun. He finished out the day by doing a 50 foot mini bungee jump and said it was alright but too short. Still fun. We had a great time and are trying to get back out there this summer for another round. read more

When I started reading the release form(s), it began to dawn on me: I could die today. But, c'mon, let's get real: I could die any day. They just don't make me sign release forms to eat hamburgers or walk across the street. At least, with the form, you know they care. And at Tree to Tree, you get the feeling that they really do care. They're like the best parents. They'll show you the ropes (har) and they put a premium on safety, but they don't do things for you, and they give you space to learn -- and even make mistakes -- on your own. The group package we purchased said "ziplining" but there's way more to it than just zipping from tree to tree. This is an aerial obstacle course. The different elements contain as many mental challenges as physical ones, and it's easy to see why people would come here as a team-building activity. If you're paying attention, you can learn from the people before you, and if you're a good teammate, you'll share your knowledge and maybe even extend a hand to the people behind you. And the more efficiently your team completes each course, the more you'll get to explore in the time allotted. Another thing that they got right is the price: we'd purchased a package through LivingSocial, and once we saw the regular prices, it became clear that we could get a great deal by going there directly. We really didn't need the bus driver and wine tasting. The aerial course is only about $45 for 3 hours, and when you add in the hour-long drive through beautiful wine country out there and back, you've got a recipe for a perfect day trip! I absolutely loved it. And this is coming from someone who (a) went on a rainy day, (b) missed the end of a zip and had to pull myself back in, and (c) fell completely off of a course called the "Junkyard" at the very end, to be caught, most gratefully, by my well-secured harness. At that point, I'll admit: I really did think I might die. But I didn't die. I lived to see another day, and with a bruise on my arm and a gleam in my eye, I'd sign that release again in a minute. read more

My husband and I went here on a double date with our neighbors and had a blast. The introduction takes a little while, but it's for a reason. We got the hang of the equipment pretty quickly. This is a great place to go for good clean fun and a decent upper body workout. No screaming children and very few long lines.
