Kayla was the perfect person to partner with for my surprise proposal in Mammoth in February! From the get go, she made the process extremely easy. I knew I wanted to propose on the slopes of Mammoth, but not much beyond that - Kayla did a great job of filling in those gaps. She gave me a thorough list of potential spots all over the mountain - she can ski, so as long as you can ride there, it's an option! She went up there and took pictures/videos to give me a sense of what it would look like. The spot we ended up going with was somewhere I had never been before and she gave great directions on how to get there. In anticipation of the day, Kayla had prepped me with great tips and queues to ensure it remained a surprise - and as a result I could not be happier with how the proposal went! The day was a dream - my Fiancé and I had never taken professional pictures before, so we were nervous, but Kayla made us feel so comfortable. Nothing felt forced or scripted - she gave us queues that kept it light, natural, and fun. As an added bonus, Kayla's partner Patrick was there and kept my fiancé's hands warm in between shots (it was freezing up there!)
