Disgusting! What a terrible experience with the unprofessional and unfriendly staff at this office…read morefrom the very first day. They did not make me feel welcome and were not accommodating at all, but the worst thing was when they started telling lies because they made mistakes and tried to cover themselves. So rude, they don't return calls or messages in MyChart, they also don't send the medication to the pharmacy that the Doctor has ordered, and then try to make excuses, telling lies about why it isn't there. The manager of this office is no better, she told me over a week ago that she will send me a referral for another office and the information to make a formal complaint, and I still have not heard anything from her. Instead of talking to his patients directly when there is an obvious problem, Dr. Timothy Evans hides and lets his staff, who are not nice enough or honest enough to have this position, continue to cause stress in his patients. No, he refuses to see patients and doesn't even have the manners to tell them, let alone a reason, why. This is known as abandonment!

I am very disappointed with the way I was treated when trying to schedule an appointment with Dr…read more Palumbo's office. I was referred by my primary care physician, Dr. Tamara Sealy, due to a fracture in my left knee and the need to be evaluated by a surgeon. I was already in pain, distressed, and concerned because I had just learned that I had a fracture. The scheduler, who identified herself unclearly as "CIA" from scheduling, stated that she schedules for every doctor and that she was the one who schedules for Dr. Palumbo. Unfortunately, her tone was rude, aggressive, dismissive, and lacked compassion. Instead of showing empathy or helping me understand my options, she emphasized that the first available appointment would not be until July and stated that my situation was "not an emergency." As a healthcare worker and Doctor of Health Administration, I understand that offices have scheduling limitations. However, patients should still be treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism--especially when they are in pain and dealing with an injury. I felt unheard, dismissed, and unsupported during a time when I needed guidance. This staff member should not be representing a medical office if she cannot communicate with patients in a compassionate and professional manner. I would not recommend this office based on my scheduling experience. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity, not made to feel like an inconvenience when they are seeking care for a serious medical concern.

I am starting this review by saying that I am a physician in hospice and palliative medicine with…read moreover 11 years in urgent care, emergency medicine. I sent my spouse to see him for her debilitating left knee pain and the complaints I received from her was absolutely jaw dropping and ridiculous . I went into medicine for the passion... the passion to help people, not for the money. This dr Baker is the absolute opposite of a caring physician . Let's mention that my spouse has trauma experience and level one trauma er experience. She was seen by him for approximately 2 minutes and did a terrible physical exam of her knee, she even stated my knee exams were more thorough as well as her chiropractor .. Never even read her pmh, review of systems, absolutely nothing !!! He scrolled through her mri for approximately 5 seconds ... and not even vitals were taken of the patient !!!!! He said he would prescribe a topical cream !!! Didn't explain a thing and blew her off !!! There is a REASON WHY WE SENT HER TO AN ORTHO!! A specialist ... he's a heartless excuse for a physician... egotistical md .. the typical... we will seek second opinion since she truly can't hyperextend the knee and I suspect possible partial tear of acl and couldn't even see the posterior meniscus. Please please I beg every single patient that's reading this !!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE than Florida orthopedic institute and further more avoid this so called MD!!!! Dr Baker remember that ... dr Baker AVOID AVOID AVOID AND NOT TO MENTION GOT PRESCRIBED INDOMETHACIN WITHOUT EVEN READING HER PMH OR DRUG ALLERGIES ... absolute nightmare of a doctor Avoid avoid avoid. It's embarrassing and he should be embarrassed to know that a chiropractor did ten times better job of examining her knee than he did ... again a doctor that shows no compassion or empathy is not a doctor that should be prescribing medicines or laying their hands on a patient.. what's bad for him and little does he know that I'm a physician and my spouse has over 18 years of medical experience ... tish tish... he'll here from us shortly

I want to remain active (only 46 years young) and am seeking the best way to do this. Dr. Baker has suggested a plan for the long term so that I can stay active and be conservative at the same time. He offers solutions as if he is the patient (money, time and health conscious), not as if he is the Doctor looking for the next surgery experience. Both of my grandmothers lived to be well into their 90's. With Dr. Baker's help, I will too and be acting like I'm in my 70's! Of course with an amazing doctor comes and amazing staff! Nina, Rhonda, Ashley, Amy, Keisha, Josie and Alishia are professional and fun, making each visit almost like a "Field Trip". Thanks for your care and professionalism. I look forward to our journey together!
