Bryan is THE best. When my husband and I moved into our home in 2023, it was entirely unlivable. We needed extensive work done on our kitchen and bathrooms. Because not much had been updated since our house was built in the 50's, there also turned out to be a lot of other issues including electrical, plumbing and foundation work. I interviewed about 10 contractors before Bryan. His demeanor was entirely different than all the others. I could immediately tell he was a genuine and trustworthy individual, which is extremely important when embarking on such a large project. Thank goodness we hired Bryan, because the scope of work turned out to be so much more involved than we could have imagined. Importantly, unlike a lot of other contractors, Bryan budgets for potential issues rather than providing the lowest price and then proceeding to issue tens of thousands in surprise change orders when problems arise. Bryan and his crew also opened up our kitchen, which was previously closed in by a brick chimney. This was not part of our original scope, but they were still up for the task. I cannot stress enough how much work they put into everything. Bryan was able to handle every challenge we threw at him, and there were a lot. We've done two home renovations now with KB West Coast and just wrapped up possibly one of the most complicated plumbing jobs I can imagine. This review is long overdue, but let me just say Bryan and KB do amazing work. We moved into our home many years ago, but last spring it was finally the right time to remodel our grungy, outdated bathrooms. We spoke with a number of other contractors, all of whom rubbed me the wrong way, and most of whom were dismissive of my ideas and even of the space itself. Bryan took us seriously from the get-go, and was both very understanding of what we wanted, and respectful of the quirks of our home. The previous owners did a lot of repairs and modifications themselves, which caused a ton of surprise issues throughout the remodel process, but Bryan and his team took everything in stride, and worked hard to stay as true to our quoted price as possible. They worked so hard to make my vision a reality (listening to what I'm sure was many annoying requests from me!) and dealt with a ton of curve balls. Bryan wasn't satisfied with making things look "good enough"--instead, he went above and beyond to make everything in our bathrooms special and unique, just like I wanted. He took the time to make sure all of his updates went with the character of the rest of our home. It's touches like that that put these guys head and shoulders above the rest. The only bummer was that it was a very slow process. We expected the remodel to take about three months, but it ended up taking closer to five. I don't blame Bryan for that, though (he was super-communicative and committed to our project), we just chalk it up to how things are since COVID. In the end, they did a fantastic job on our bathrooms, to the point where every day that we use them feels like a vacation. I know there are cheaper contractors out there, but finding someone who is as concerned about and appreciative of your home as you are is extremely rare. There's no one else I could think of calling once we're ready to redo our kitchen. Can't recommend Bryan and his team enough! read more

I hired Bryan and his team to repair my balcony after a series of leaks after all the rain this winter. They replaced the old rusted drain and did a fantastic job making sure the balcony was hot mopped properly, meticulously testing it to make sure there weren't any leaks. Bryan and his team are amazing! Last year, I found a leak in my roof that had been there for some time causing some damage to the insulation and wood supports in my roof. Needless to say, I was panicked! But Bryan got his team on it right away and the entire problem was fixed in just a couple weeks time. We had interviewed 13 different contracting companies due to the Water leak that occurred in our kitchen. We have worked with Bryan, the owner and main contractor of KB West Coast on several occasions within the last four years because they have been the most responsive, knowledgeable and responsible company out of all That was interviewed. All of his workers, especially George, Hector and Francisco, have been amazing to work with. They are all all family men and are very responsible and respectful. The first job was for the water leak that left us without a kitchen for two years while we were dealing with the insurance company. The leak had damaged our kitchen, living room and dining room areas. Bryan and his crew stuck it through thick and thin and never left us hanging. They were the only reason why we kept our sanity. The second job was for fixing, repairing, matching the drywall and painting the outside of our house including fixing, and repairing our properties boundary wall. The last time they were here, they installed new flooring in our bathrooms, and they took the old post out that was holding our second story bedrooms up and replaced it with no damage. This company is excellent. The owner and contractor, Bryan and all of his crew members are very responsible, knowledgeable and reliable. Bryan always responds immediately and consistently communicate from the minute he meets you until the last job is done. We are truly grateful to have met this company.
