We started packing, and 11 o'clock came and they still weren't there. So my wife called and the company claimed they showed up at 9am, and no one was there. They didn't bother calling us to see where we were or anything. They just left. When we asked them to come back we were told they were at another move. So let that sink in. They were suppose to be at our house at 10:30 to help us move over the next 8 hours, yet they magically had another move scheduled the same day that they needed to be to 30 minutes after they were scheduled to help us move. It's 2018, so I have gotten use to poor customer service, but this is the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced from a business. We are lucky we weren't sued from the buyers for not being out in time. But it didn't end there. The next day, they charged us $100, for a move they didn't even do. I would never trust this company to anything for me. The only thing this has going for it is an employee Jasmine, who went out of her way to help us find movers.

Our move was May 5. aAt first things seemed good. After there was some damage to our bed…read moreheadboard, a large rolling tool chest, and some walls in our new house we began trying to contact someone to get guidance on how to file a claim. They basically ghosted us and we had lots of trouble getting information or action on our claims. August 5 the repaired headboard was brought back to us (3 months to get anything done??). A couple days later they informed us that they would not be paying for the toolbox. They figured the purchase price then depreciated at 10% per year and conveniently came up with a figure just under the deductible. So how did they damage the toolbox, you ask? When it was loaded onto the truck they used the power lift gate. When they got to the new house they decided it would be easier to just roll it down the ramp (so they did not have to go to the effort of deploying the lift gate since the ramp was already in place). The box tipped as it was rolled down the ramp and it is a wonder one of their employees wasn't badly hurt trying to catch it. I cannot recommend these guys to even my enemies. Avoid this company at all costs.

We'd gotten several quotes and, I'll be honest here, I wanted to go a cheaper route with a different provider. My wife, being the smarter one of us, stood her ground and insisted we use Absolute. She could tell by the attention to the quote alone that they were going to provide excellent service. The communication between the company and us before the day of the move was great. On the day of the move, they called us when they were on the way, they showed up when they said they would, the crew were all very polite and treated our stuff with care, and they worked quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend them enough. As my wife said while standing her ground - "there are some things you just don't try to cheap out on!" I'll learn one day. Maybe.
