The most horrible AC experience I have ever had!! This guy, Kevin is not right. No documentation or…read moreclear written information about what was to be done and after, what was done. Incredibly slippery. Also refuses to communicate in writing for what are now clearly obvious reasons. Incredibly disrespectful when questioned and presented with the correct technical information. Put in a unit too small for my home. Did not evaluate for the right size. Then made all kinds of excuses for why the unit was not cooling and was inefficient even though I had the data to prove the unit was just too small. He also did not fill it with refrigerant (among other neglected items) because he didn't have any of the correct be EPA approved refrigerant. But untruthfully told me it was full!!!! Will be recovering money for replacement. Bigger more professional company came in and had to do damage control, but I suffered for days in 80 degree temperatures inside my home and still am!!! This guy is a nightmare.

I replaced the furnace filter, as I do every month, and a few hours later, I heard a whining sound. I called and got an immediate answer. He came to my house repositioned my filter and didn't charge me for the call. Would highly recommend this company!

Very disappointed. My mom has been a customer for several years. She had the yearly maintenance…read morecontract. All was fine until this past fall when they said she needed a new heating and air conditioning system. The current unit is only 11 years old. She lives by herself and they convinced her it was too old and leaking, so a new one had to be installed. The price quoted was $10,349.00. Her house is only 1,661sqft. She signed an estimate, not a contract. When my brother and I found out we were not happy. My brother was there the morning that the installers came and told them we were getting a second opinion and refused the installation. After the installers left, the office called my mom and told her she now owed them $500 because she signed a CONTRACT, and they brought the unit from their warehouse in Dayton. (She lives in Huber Heights, long drive, I know.) Before we could get a copy of the ESTIMATE she signed, she took a $500 check to them. NO WHERE on the ESTIMATE did it say that there was a "restocking fee". Results of the second opinion: $912 for a new seal, including labor. AND they said the unit will likely last another 5 or 6 years. We will no longer be using Ed's Heating and Cooling for anything. UNTRUSTWORTHY. It would be great if they gave the $500 back, but I know they will not. Lesson Learned, BEWARE.

They got me in the next day, again first thing in the morning with a new unit. Their techs were courteous as usual, helped to tell me what I should do to prevent my dogs from damaging the new unit and got me all set. I usually have so much trouble with service at my house, but every time I have Ed's out (at least 6 times over the years) their techs are very nice and I get my problems taken care of quickly and easily.
