This is a great place to get your vehicle fixed. I've used them twice, once for a Ford 7.3 diesel and another one with a wiring issue. Both times they found the problem and fixed it fast with no problems. They tell you up front what it will cost and that's what you pay. Another shop quoted me $1000 for a job they did for $540. They are the best priced in area, and there's a reason you see the Fallon police cars being worked on there. Good job. read more

I contacted K D Automotive in advance and asked them if they would be certified to perform work on a Toyota 4Runner to perform the 60k required maintenance, and was told YES, they could and would need to order the parts in advance! I brought the vehicle in it was serviced and I paid $1,200 and had the 8 spark plugs and several other parts replaced. I had intermittent starter trouble after that, but K D did the oil and filter changes and found nothing wrong with it. When the check engine light came on and flashed, I was in Carson City and had it towed to Carson City Toyota (CCT). CCT found not only had K D replaced the parts in my Toyota 4Runner with Ford parts (after 7,000 miles), but they were used, low-end and they had stripped the spark-plugs forcing them into the head. Toyota not only gave 20% off on the labor, but removed 8 stripped spark-plugs and replace them with the NEW Toyota parts! CCT not only saved all the parts that K D had supposed replaced for me and showed my original parts were probably in better shape than the used Ford ones that K D used! If I could give this company a negative rating I would! Have your vehicle serviced at your own risk! I will also be lodging complaints with the Better Business Bureau but also the State of Nevada. read more

The cost to give me an estimate on my vehicle was not applied to the repair...so I paid double the labor charge. They should have told me up front that I would have to pay for an estimate that would not be applied to.the final bill. So be sure to ask or you will be double billed. read more
