Exchange offered me checking with interest because of my age. My old bank offered nothing. I get texts alerting me every time a transaction has been submitted. I got a text about a transaction which I never dealt with. Called Exchange and said it was pending. They immediately cancelled the transaction and issued a new one which I went to the bank to pick up. I did not lose a penny.

After opening we attempted to get in contact with Exchange to determine how to utilize their online banking. After numerous attempts and the guarantee of a return call that never happened, Exchange closed our account. My husband went in person to try to figure out what was going on and was informed that due to funds not being in the account/ the account not being used they decided to close the account without informing us. No call, letter, nothing. They not only closed the account which was not in poor standing, but also deleted all files they had on our business. The amount of time wasted and the lack of remorse was very off-putting. Highly recommend searching elsewhere for your banking needs. Communication is everything especially when financials are involved.

The staff is very helpful and I love the benefits of a small town bank. My children are now customers and more than once the tellers have helped me with minor emergencies on the kids accounts.
