The dining room was nicely appointed. The staff was attentive and friendly but not overbearing They had two pricing structures, one for two course meal and one for a three course meal. My wife ordered a two course meal and I ordered a three course meal because the third course, dessert, we felt would be best shared. The soup of the day was tomato basil which I had and it was outstanding. I have the prime rib for the main course and it was cooked to perfection and, of course, served with some potatoes. For dessert we had the brownie with ice cream and it was also very good. Well worth the cost. I highly recommend it.

Great little Irish pub that is open till at least midnight on weekdays. However, the back door was open and many locals came in through the back run after the front was closed. So check the back door even if the front looks closed. They have live music Wed and Sun nights and is a mix of traditional Irish music and more contemporary music. There was a quartet playing when we got there but various folks in the bar swapped in and out to play different instruments or sing songs. The quality of music was surprisingly good. The crowd is mostly locals with a smattering of tourists who seem to have been referred there by other locals (possibly hotel staff). The folks there and the barkeep were very friendly and welcoming. The prices were very reasonable (though I don't have a good base of comparison within Cashel). Would definitely recommend the pub for a local pub experience (especially on a night they have live music).

The staff are these sweet local ladies who have such a quaint little restaurant mostly catering to the tourist and locals. Menu seemed pretty traditional and straight forward. We ordered the ham and cheese sandwich with soup combo as well as bangers and mash. My bf liked his simple yet filling sandwich and soup combo. There wasn't anything amazing about the sandwich, but the carrot soup was quite tasty. I got the bangers and mash and loved it. It's probably my favorite Irish staple meal, and it was just what I was expecting. Delicious and just good for your soul kinda food.
