When I arrived, they told me only one was ready but that they could fill the second one in 20 minutes, promising to announce my name over the speakers when it was done.After walking the aisles waiting, I returned to the pharmacy counter only to find the shutters completely pulled down. Staff members were actively walking out the door next to the window. When I asked about my medication, one of them dismissively told me, "We are closed and we can't do anything about it," and just walked out without a care.I spoke to the store manager, who apologized but claimed she couldn't do anything. She then tried to claim they had announced my name over the speaker. When I asked her what name they called, she said "Birbir"--which is not my name at all. I wasted a full hour of my time and left without my essential medication due to pure incompetence and a total lack of empathy. It is deeply shameful that this pharmacy treats a loyal, 10-year patient with such blatant disregard.

The shop is really cute and had some interesting things, and I found a lot of the healthcare items I need at home! While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.

Got to Walgreens and was told that there was no pharmacist. Ran back to the urgent care and had them sent to Cub. I know people get sick and shit happens, but this was the first time we were done wrong. A few weeks ago, I was waiting for 2 prescriptions for my husband who was suffering from a terrible Gout flare up. I was told his prescriptions would be ready in 15 minutes. An hour later I was still waiting. Finally got the prescription and went home. Only had one of his prescriptions in the bag. Had to go back and pick up the other one. Called the urgent care to make sure they were both sent in. Yes they were both sent in. Not even an appology!!!! HATE Walgreens and I don't trust them at all. Jill was so great. She spoke with Mayo for me and verified that insurance was active, as it took a few hours. There was a lot of confusion and a lot of back and forth. One of those days where you don't get much done because you are on the phone and monitoring activity because you need to get that prescription, ASAP! I will be using this pharmacy in the future.
