I grabbed a menu that was on the side and stood near the counter since I wasn't sure if i should sit down at a table or order there. Someone came out after a minute or so and took my order. When my order was ready, I had to grab it from the back counter instead of them bringing it out to me. I had high hope for the Chicken shawarma poutine. Too bad it was terrible. I also got a mixed shawarma wrap. they bragged about making the bread in house. It too was not good. I couldn't eat half of either order. I just had enough to fill me up for the night and had to toss the rest. No one ever checked on how things were either. I hear this place has since closed. Hope that something better is there the next time I am in town.

We ordered two shawarma sandwiches, one was a combo that came with fries and a drink, as well as hummus dip, all for takeout. We had already driven off then realized they had forgotten our hummus dip so we turned back. After having waited so long for our food, we were annoyed that we had to turn back around. Because the kids were hungry, I wanted to give them fries in the meantime. I opened the container and immediately saw a used bandaid inside. I was absolutely disgusted!! We went back and I told them they had forgotten our hummus but more importantly showed them the used bandaid inside the container of fries. They apologized; their excuse was that the other cook was new, but I no longer wanted anything to do with them. I left the food on the counter, asked for my money back and left. Upset that we had to go back because of the forgotten hummus, but absolutely DISGUSTED, REVOLTED and PISSED about that used bandaid inside the fries!! What a waste of time, such a terrible experience. I submitted a formal complaint to the health unit, because this is unacceptable, unsafe food practice.

I've been 3 times once for lunch and twice for dinner and it was only busy one of the times (dinner). It is a little bit on the pricey side but I think completely worth it because they give you 4 appetizer dips and bread at the start on the house, as well as the most heart-warming tea on the house to finish off your meal. The staff are very friendly and welcoming! There isn't a lot of choices on the menu, but everything I've tried has been delicious. The portion sizes are pretty big. For someone with a smaller appetite you may have to take some food home! Now I'll rate the things I've tried: Their meat dishes come with your choice of rice or fries and a salad. The salad is amazingly satisfying and the rice is the kind of pillowy fluffy comfort rice from your childhood. I've tried fries from friends and they were alright but not special. There are a ton of meat options and the quality IS AMAZING. Some of the best quality and tasting meat I've had. It's juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I've tried the lamb chops: they were delicious and that's coming from someone that's not a massive lamb lover. A bit expensive ($30) though since there are only 3 chops. So I wouldn't get them again. Adana kebab: DELICIOUS. Perfectly seasoned. Comes with a bit of thin bread to eat it with. This was my favourite order. Shashlik (forgive me I forget how to spell it): again a little pricier ($30 I think) but delicious!! Its a skewer with onion and perfectly delicious meat. Cheese pide: another favourite!!! This item is so affordable and is HUGE!! it tastes incredible I genuinely felt like I was in Turkey munching on the soft doughy cheesy delight that it was. The garlic sauce it comes with is heavenly. Lahamchun: yummy! Its a thinner dough than the pide so it's not as filling. But it's tasty and the portion size is huge as well. Good if you don't want to order a main meat dish. Cigar borek: good! Its a cylinder shaped pastry filled with cheese. Doesn't come with a lot. I probably wouldn't get again. Grape leaves: My friend LOVED these but I personally didn't. It didnt come with many though so its a bit pricier! All the "on-the-house" appetizers are delicious and fun to eat. My favourite is the beet one. The tea is amazing as well. A bit strong but it goes extremely well with the food. I think that's everything I wanted to mention. Highly recommend this place and I will be going often :)

Even though I was ordering to go, they promptly helped me and even offered a comfortable seat on their couch while I waited. My food was ready in about 10 minutes--fast and efficient. I ordered the lamb skewers dinner, which came with rice, pita, and a cup of lentil soup. The lamb was fantastic: nicely seasoned, tender, and cooked perfectly. This was a great experience all around. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Erie so I can order again and try more items from their menu. Solid choice for quick, high-quality Mediterranean food--highly recommend!

It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night and they just had one girl working who was doing a fantastic job. She was waiting tables, and cashing out customers, and trying to help with the DoorDash orders. It is a nicely decorated restaurant inside with cute wood cuttings on the walls. We sat in a booth near the back. We ordered the baba ghanoush, which was a large portion and came with pita bread. The pita bread could've been a little fresher I think that was our only complaint. The dip was great though, very flavorful & topped with tomatoes. I ordered the chicken Shawarma platter & it came with a massive amount of kepsa rice (you can also just get plain rice, but I do recommend this special kind of rice cooked in tomato and seasonings). I got lentil soup as my side. My husband got the chicken kebab platter and I have to say after tasting the kebab that it was outstanding and I liked grilled kabobs even better than my chicken Shawarma. He had a nice size side salad as his side, and he also ordered a lentil soup in addition which comes with lemon & crispy pita chips. We had an entire box of food, including probably 4 cups of rice and half of both of our chicken portions to take home. We also had a little bit of the baba ghanoush pita bread to take home as well. We would definitely return to this place. They had free refills on sodas as well. As we were leaving, a guy came in trying to order and kept asking the price... Whatever he wanted to order he did not have enough money for and the girl finally said don't worry about it. She'll take care of it and she'll let him order it anyway! So that was nice. I mean that's not something that normal restaurants would do!
