If you didn't know better it could more than likely pass as a storage room and not a pizza place. It is small, only a few windows, barely any tables apart from some chairs to sit on while waiting to take your pizza's and be off. Yes, it's not really the kind of place where you stay and eat. It is flour all over the place, old decorations and nothing feels fresh. However, the staff there are very helpful, kind, talkative and everytime you enter it's that whole familiar feel to it. Maybe also because it is actually run by a family with Italian heritage. This establishment has been there for many (many!) years and hailed to have some of the best pizza's around, and not only then counting the city limits. I don't know if I'm as convinced as many others are though. Good, yes. Great, yes. Extraordinary, no. They have a large menu, probably well over 150 different pizza's, but this could also be one problem. Too big of a menu isn't always the best way to deliver a great product. I usually prefer fewer things and perfect execution. But such things aside, the pizza is nice. Thin and crispy crust, never burnt, rich in flavor and generous with ingredients. The prices are ok, maybe a tad overpriced, which is more related to the demand than perhaps the actual quality. If you call in an order on a Friday night, expect about 1 1/2-2 hours of waiting time before you pick them up. I'm just not convinced they live up the hype. Good, yes. Extraordinary, no. But for any average at-home pizza-night, they do fit the bill.

My fiance's calzone was supposed to have some sort of sausage in it, but it was squishy and an unsettling pink color. Not appetizing. I took a bite and had to spit it out. What had we been waiting an hour for, if our food wasn't properly cooked? It was as if the meat had just been boiled in the watery tomato sauce inside the calzone and that's it. My pizza was just okay, and I don't think I would have been impressed had I waited only 10 minutes instead of an hour. It looked impressive when it came out, but it lacked flavor big time. Another thing I didn't like about this restaurant was the service. I understand their card system (you get a chip card upon entering, and this is what you use to order and pay your check at the end of your meal). What I didn't understand is why not a single staff member seemed bothered about the customers. You have to go up to the cooks yourself to order and get your own water, which is fine, but when you're sitting for an hour, very hungry, and no one cares, it's hard to be forgiving toward the service (or lack thereof). I had a lot of time to look around before our food was done and noticed I wasn't the only one looking around confused. Maybe this is a business model choice that benefits them more than it hurts them, but it did not work for me, especially given the low quality of the food. I will not go to Vezzo again.

First up, this is my local pizza place and has been for years. They were recently closed for a…read morelonger duration of time due to much needed renovation. It had become a bit worn down and the environment didn't exactly inspire one to sit down and enjoy a pizza. Instead I used to pick up my cardboard boxes and on my way. However, after the renovation the establishment looks much more like a proper restaurant with a large and impressive kitchen together with a contemporary and comfortable seating area. The food itself has varied a bit over the years, but to my eyes recently picked up their game substantially. Of course since this is Sweden, and as with pizza's in this stretched out Northern country, every pizza place have their abominations of available toppings. My preferences usually fall more towards either vegetarian or seafood toppings, and in this regard I truly think they deliver. It is nothing out of the ordinary, but neither is it mundane. The dough is of a nice thickness, neither paper thin or a "pan pizza" with a nice crust. Flavorsome fresh tomato sauce, rich and delicate cheeses with good toppings whether I go for mussels with shrimps or vegetarian. It's an average pizza place, but it's my pizza place - and I like it.

The dining room is across the hallway in a another room. The way to the bathroom is behind the last table in the dining room and so close together that there is no room for seating even if there are chairs and a table. The bathroom wasn't clean too. I was waiting for my order and waiting and waiting, because I had an appointment around the corner at 1pm. I ordered at 12:30pm and after 20mins the guy who took my order asked me if I didn't want to order food. Really? I had to convince him that he forgot my order. He delivered me the pizza 12:59pm. I had to take the pizza in a box, leave the restaurant and ate the cold pizza 1 hour later. This experience results in a one star rating.
