Here's the lowdown Menu The truck listed saganaki, smoked salmon, porketta and beef on the day. All $12 a pop and the burgers were filled with salad, sauce, and yummy extra (like sweet potatoes in the saganaki ) Service You can smell the truck from miles away, grilling and saucing, and calling your name. Once paid, you are given a card ( like from a deck of playing card ) and this is your name/number/code. Service is quick, cute, and friendly. Feedbacks were requested and we only have great ones. Overall, great value for the price, the bagels were perfect, and tasted amazing. It was a unanimous decision in our group that this is the best bagel burger truck around.... Ok, best burger truck? Best bagel burger? Whatever, its just best! and it needs to come closer to us!

You have to follow their Facebook page to get an idea of when they might do that, but it's definitely worth the anticipation. Trying out their newly built wood fire oven, the Al Carbon truck was serving up wood fired, slow roasted to perfection lamb tacos. Yes those same kind of tacos made famous by the previous incarnate La Lupita. Awesome freshly made corn tortillas and simple additions like purple cabbage and pickles. Respadas. It's a finely shaved Mexican snow cone. I've never tried anything like it. Chilli lime salt with agave syrup, Watermelon and Rose and Sweetened condensed milk. Very refreshing on a Summer's eve. Attila tells me this time around they are going Turkish. That's his real cooking passion. Slow roasted lamb, house made bread and tapas style sides, designed to be eaten by hand around a table with good friends. Something great is coming to the inner west. Watch this space.

Old milk crates double up as tables while short stools dot the space in abundance. My friend and I shared 2 Dosas, one filled with masala potatoes and the other filled with smokey eggplant. The crisp dough made of fermented rice and lentil batter had a hint of acidity to it. Also, there are lentil poppers which make for a good snack. That being said, the star of the show is the wide range of chutneys. I would recommend getting the hot chili one if you are not afraid of pain. For those not in the know dosas are very thin crepes traditionally filled with spiced potato. Overdosa's menu is simple offering potato masala, spiced pumpkin or eggplant filling. Your dosa also comes with either a coconut or hot chilli chutney. You can also order poppers which are delicious fried lentil balls. We had the potato masala and the poppers with coconut chutney. I'm no expert but my companion who is Indian rated them very highly. They are hot fast and delicious. He devoured the poppers so quickly I only managed a couple. All the options here are vegan and although I am a sworn carnivore I can say that it was so tasty it didn't matter. The guys are super friendly and really keen to hear what you think of their food and have a chat. They will be at the Evelyn on Brunswick st over Anzac weekend and then they fly to India to spend a few months collecting recipes to expand their offerings and possibly open a restaurant. If you are in the mood for Indian I highly recommend checking them out.
